  • Publication number: 20230066810
Abstract: A fan including a hub having a central axis; a plurality of interlock blade elements connected to the hub by means of an interlock such that each interlock blade element is prevented from moving in a radial direction with respect to the hub; and an end blade element positioned on the hub between two interlock blade elements, the end blade element being fixed to the hub to prevent movement of each interlock blade element in a circumferential direction of the hub; wherein each interlock blade element is connected to the hub by a first blade movement in a radially inward direction with respect to the hub followed by a second blade movement in a circumferential direction of the hub to establish the interlock.

  • Patent number: 8848930
Abstract: A method and an arrangement for adapting an alert signal level generated by a device to an ambient of the device is provided. The method may include processing a sound signal corresponding to a test signal or an alert signal, generating a correlation value by correlating the sound signal with a generated sound signal, comparing the correlation value with a value, and adjusting the alert signal to a level based on result of the comparison.

  • Publication number: 20100155575
Abstract: A method in an electronic device for detecting a user input to a key of the electronic device associated with a solar cell that may include an input and an output is provided. The key may be transparent and admit input electromagnetic radiation to the solar cell. A change of input radiation into the solar cell may result in a corresponding change of an output signal of the solar cell. The method may include the step of detecting a change of the output signal corresponding to a change in input radiation as a result of light being blocked from being incident on the key (e.g., shadowed), and the step of indicating an input (i.e., activation) of the key associated with the solar cell with the detected output signal change.

  • Patent number: 6442391
Abstract: The present invention relates to determining the geographic location of a mobile station in a mobile communications system. The object of the invention is to protect the integrity of the user of the mobile station, so as to prevent the location of the mobile station being established by an outsider against the will of the user. In this respect, an authorization check is carried out in conjunction with a request for determination of the geographical location of a mobile station. The geographical location is only determined when authorization is found for the mobile station to be located. This authorization control involves checking that the user of the mobile station has granted permission for the location of his mobile station MS to be determined on the part of an outsider. The authority check may also include the condition that only certain outsiders may be informed of the geographical location of the mobile station.

  • Publication number: 20010003093
Abstract: A communication system communicates position request and information over a communication channel that is used for communicating roaming data between mobile stations. Over the communication channel, a first local PLMN transmits a position request to a second remote PLMN covering a remote service area within which a roaming mobile station is positioned. In response to the position request, the second PLMN transmits position information related to the roaming mobile station to the first PLMN, preferably, over the same communication channel.
