Patent number: 11272825Abstract: A dishwasher may include a washing chamber and a wash arm arrangement having a wash arm rotatably arranged in the washing chamber, and a satellite spray device arranged on the wash arm. The dishwasher may include at least one sensor configured to sense a rotational position of the wash arm and a control unit configured to monitor consecutive sensed rotational positions of the wash arm. The control unit may be configured to calculate a rotational speed of the wash arm based on an elapsed time and a rotational distance between two sensed rotational positions, and may be configured to estimate a current rotational position of the wash arm based on an elapsed time since a previously sensed rotational position and the calculated rotational speed. The control unit may adapt the pumping intensity of a pump of the dishwasher based on the estimated current rotational position of the wash arm.Type: GrantFiled: December 15, 2016Date of Patent: March 15, 2022Inventors: Magnus Wahlberg, Finn Svensson, David Persson, Camilla Runnquist, Maciej Zienkiewicz, David Hedberg, John Anello

Publication number: 20210267433Abstract: A dishwasher comprising a goods drying system with an ejector at a bottom section of the dishwasher and configured to draw, via a first ejector channel arranged inside the dishwasher, goods drying air in a tub of the dishwasher to an outlet of the ejector where air exits the dishwasher. The drying air enters the first ejector channel at a top section of the dishwasher. A device at an opening of a second channel of the ejector draws air from outside the dishwasher into the second ejector channel to enable the transport of the goods drying air via the first ejector channel. Air drawn from the outside the dishwasher by the device exits via the ejector outlet. Air enters the tub of the dishwasher by an inlet at a bottom of the dishwasher and mixes with the goods drying air in the tub before entering the first ejector channel.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 20, 2018Publication date: September 2, 2021Applicant: Electrolux Appliances AktiebolagInventor: Magnus Wahlberg

Patent number: 9103258Abstract: An arrangement for introducing a liquid medium into exhaust gases from a combustion engine: A mixing chamber (3) has exhaust gases flow through it. Its downstream end (5) has an endwall (7) of thermally conductive material as an end surface of the mixing chamber (3). An injector injects the liquid medium spray into the mixing chamber (3) or into exhaust gases led into the mixing chamber (3). An exhaust passage (13) adjacent to the mixing chamber (3) is intended for exhaust gases to flow through it and is delineated from the mixing chamber (3) by the endwall (7). Heat flanges (14) of thermally conductive material are situated on at least part of the side of said endwall (7) which faces towards the exhaust passage (13), extend into the exhaust passage (13), absorb heat from exhaust gases which flow through the exhaust passage and give off this heat to the endwall.Type: GrantFiled: September 12, 2012Date of Patent: August 11, 2015Assignee: SCANIA CV ABInventors: Daniel Norling, Daniel Ryrfeldt, Markus Mustonen, Henrik Birgersson, Emelie Lagerkvist, Fatima Strand, Per Birkestad, Magnus Wahlberg
