  • Patent number: 11960476
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system and techniques for preventing corruption of snapshot data by limiting the visibility of committed data. To do this, the system may maintain an index that indicates the highest transaction identifier value such that no future commits will have a transaction identifier less than or equal to the indexed transaction identifier value. In embodiments, if a read is performed, only transactions having a transaction identifier less than or equal to the index value can be read. Each time that a transaction is committed, the index value is updated to the transaction identifier for the transaction having the highest transaction identifier without any intermediary transactions.

  • Publication number: 20230414902
Abstract: A support catheter may be used in combination with a guidewire or other medical device. The support catheter may be adapted to provide both high pushability and good torque response. The elongate shaft of the support catheter may include a polymeric inner layer, stainless steel braided layer disposed over the polymeric inner layer, and a polymeric blend layer that is extruded directly over the stainless-steel braided layer. The construction of the elongate shaft may provide the support catheter with a pushability value of at least 900 grams per centimeter and a torque response value of less than 300 degrees.

  • Patent number: 9756189
Abstract: A server, upon receiving a request to complete a call over a packet-switched network, looks up an address on the packet-switched network on a local table. If the local table does not contain a matching address, the server asks a routing server to identify a receiving server address. The routing server identifies a suitable address and sends a message to the originating server containing the address. The routing server may consider such factors as the volume of calls currently being handled by various potential receiving servers in selecting a receiving server. The receiving server then receives, via the packet-switched network, a message requesting a telephone connection to a second telephone device. Before completing the connection to the second telephone device, information in the message representing the address of the device on the packet-switched network that originated the message is identified. The address information is compared to selected predetermined addresses for permitted origins of the message.

  • Patent number: 9441252
Abstract: The present invention provides a cost effective biotechnological process for production of bio-fuels from isolated and characterized microalgae. The algal strains used in the present invention having higher biomass, higher lipid productivity, higher pH and temperature tolerance are selected from the group consisting of Chlorella vulgaris iOC-1, Chlorella vulgaris iOC-2, Chlorella kessleri, Botrococcus bruni, Dunaliella salina and Nannochloris oculat or a combination thereof having 95-100% similarity with 18s ribosomal nucleic acids nucleotide sequences (rDNA) given for Seq. ID I, Seq. ID 2, Seq. ID 3, Seq. ID 4, Seq. ID 5 and Seq. ID 6. The present process of bio-fuel production comprises the steps of producing lipid from green algae in bioreactors by various novel steps and extracting oil from dried algal cells and ultimately producing biodiesel by transesterification of the said extracted oil.
