  • Patent number: 9107777
Abstract: Embodiments of this invention provide a disposable wearing article facilitating even an aged person having relatively weak forth to pull a waist-opening periphery in the transverse direction to widen the waist-opening to a desired size, despite this and the waist region should not slip down during use of the wearing article. Waist elastic elements (36) are stretched in the transverse direction X at a stretch ratio in a range of about 2.5 to about 3.0 and having fineness in a range of about 800 to about 1000 dtex, a dimension between the waist elastic elements (36) adjacent in the transverse direction X is in a range of about 5.5 to about 6.0 mm and each of waist elastic regions (38) in which the waist elastic elements (36) are present has a tensile stress at a moment of 255% stretching in the transverse direction X in a range of about 4.5 to about 6.0N/35 mm and a tensile stress at a moment of 167% stretching in the transverse direction is in a range of about 1.7 to about 2.1N/35 mm.

  • Patent number: 8663185
Abstract: The present invention aims to provide a wearing article improved so that various types of nonwoven fabrics can be effectively used for target nonwoven fabric without anxiety that the target nonwoven fabric once engaged with hook elements might be readily torn. As an outer sheet 8 defining a garment-facing side of a chassis 2, a commonly-used nonwoven fabric is used and this nonwoven fabric is oriented in a longitudinal direction Y. Rear waist region's side edges 14 of the chassis 2 are provided with flaps 16 attached thereto. Each of the flaps 16 has a joint region 19 along which the flap 16 is joined to the chassis 2 and first and second hook elements 21, 22. Between the joint region 19 and the first and second hook elements 21, 22 as viewed in the transverse direction X, a contractible region 23 adapted to be contractible in the transverse direction X. The contractible region 23 is provided with a plurality of flap's elastic members 24.

  • Publication number: 20130344346
Abstract: There is provided a packaging film which has a good suitability for use in an automatic packaging machine, and is free from occurrence of sagging even when stored in a low-temperature condition for a long period of time as well as hardly suffers from occurrence of whitening when subjected to high stretch packaging. The stretch packaging film of the present invention comprises a laminated film having at least three layers comprising opposite surface layers each comprising an ethylene-based resin (A) as a main component and an intermediate layer comprising a propylene-based resin (C) and a propylene-based resin (B) which respectively satisfy specific conditions, at a specific compounding ratio, and having a heat of crystallization (?Hc) of 10 to 60 J/g as measured at a temperature drop rate of 10° C./min using a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) and a storage elastic modulus (E?) at 20° C.

  • Publication number: 20110274899
Abstract: Disclosed is a multilayer film which uses a lactic acid polymer as a main raw material and is suppressed in generation of an annoying odor. Specifically disclosed is a multilayer film which comprises at least three layers including a surface layer and an intermediate layer containing a lactic acid polymer (B) and a plasticizer (C). The multilayer film is characterized in that the detected amount of lactic acid oligomer components is controlled to 50 ng/cm2 or less, or that the amount of odor components derived from the plasticizer is controlled to 50 ng/cm2 or less.

  • Publication number: 20110251577
Abstract: A wearing article configured so as to prevent bodily fluids from staying in the proximal side edges of the cuffs and thereby to restrict development of skin troubles such as diaper rashes due to such staying bodily fluids. The wearing article includes a chassis having an inner sheet lying on a side facing a wearer's body and an outer sheet lying on a side facing away from the wearer's body and a liquid-absorbent structure is sandwiched between these inner and outer sheet. The liquid-absorbent structure is formed with highly absorbent regions having a higher bodily fluid absorption capacity than that of a remaining region. The highly absorbent regions include front regions lying on the side of a front end and rear regions lying on the side of a rear end. The highly absorbent regions are formed by increasing a thickness of a liquid-absorbent core. Leakage-barrier cuffs are formed on the side of the inner sheet facing the wearer's body.
