    Abstract: A thermoelectric power generation system includes a shell-and-tube heat exchanger configured such that a tube including double tubes of an inner tube and an outer tube is inserted into a shell, and a thermoelectric power generation module inserted into between the inner tube and the outer tube. The thermoelectric power generation module generates thermoelectric power using a temperature difference between a first medium flowing in the inner tube, such as coolant, and a second medium flowing outside the outer tube in the shell, such as excess water vapor.

A recording sheet including a microcapsule magnetic sheet is disposed in the case member with a top face of the recording sheet exposed through the opening of the case member. A magnetic member is used for writing on the recording sheet. The writing board further includes a magnetized erasing sheet which is positioned under the recording sheet in parallel with the recording sheet. An erasing button is used in the case member so that writings on the recording sheet can be erased only by depressing the erasing button. An electronic calculator is or can be mounted on the top surface of the case member.

The straw is also adapted to allow a top of the straw member to be protruded from the mouth of the beverage container by extending the straw member and to allow the top of the straw member to be contained within the plug member by retracting the straw member so as to attach a cap of the beverage container.

    Abstract: In a magnetically writable and erasable writing device for practice in writing characters, the writing device includes a case member provided with an opening in a top surface of the case member wherein a frame section surrounding the opening is formed on the top surface of the case member. A writing sheet includes a microcapsule magnetic sheet and is disposed on the case member so as to expose a top face of the writing sheet from the opening of the case member. A magnetic member for writing on the writing sheet and an erasing member which is positioned under the writing sheet and which has magnetism is included in the case member. The magnetic member put on the top face of the writing sheet enables writing and moving the erasing member along a back face of the writing sheet enables the written contents to be erased. The frame section of the top surface of the case member indicates a character model.

    Abstract: A table or base for a telephone or the like includes an outer case, a recording sheet which is retractable within the outer case and which includes a microcapsule magnetic sheet, and an erasing magnetic member disposed within the outer case. The outer case has a top surface on which the telephone and other articles can be placed. The erasing magnetic member is positioned under the recording sheet when the inner case is pushed into the outer case. Thus, pulling out the recording sheet from the outer case enables a top face of the recording sheet to be magnetically written in, and pushing the recording sheet into the outer case enables the magnetic writing on the recording sheet to be erased.

The auxiliary reflector reflects a light in a direction adjacent to a side opposite to a side at which the auxiliary reflector is arranged relative to the light distribution characteristic defined by the main reflector. The novel constitution allows a headlamp of this type, in which a light having a relatively large tilt angle from the optical axis has been conventionally prevented by the housing of the headlamp from being radiated, to effectively radiate such a light in a desired direction and in a necessary range.

    Abstract: A driving device of a tape recorder in which a sliding plate supporting a magnetic head and a pinch roller is arranged for movement relative to a base and the sliding plate is adapted to be driven to an operating position where the pinch roller comes into a cooperating condition with a capstan at a record-play operation. The driving device includes a cam to drive the sliding plate and such cam, at an initial period of the record-play operation, is driven by a predetermined angle in a predetermined direction to engage the sliding plate, thereby causing the sliding plate to move to the operating position. The driving device is provided with a driven gear continuously driven by a motor and a partially toothed gear which frictionally engages the driven gear to thereby drive the cam.
