Patent number: 11985762Abstract: A flexible laminated sheet manufacturing method includes thermocompression-bonding an insulation film formed of a liquid crystal polymer onto a metal foil between endless belts to form a flexible laminated sheet. The thermocompression bonding includes heating the flexible laminated sheet so that the maximum temperature of the sheet is in the range from a temperature that is 45° C. lower than the melting point of the liquid crystal polymer to a temperature that is 5° C. lower than the melting point. The thermocompression bonding also includes slowly cooling the flexible laminated sheet so that an exit temperature, which is a temperature of the sheet when transferred out of the endless belts, is in the range from a temperature that is 235° C. lower than the melting point of the liquid crystal polymer to a temperature that is 100° C. lower than the melting point.Type: GrantFiled: January 25, 2021Date of Patent: May 14, 2024Assignee: UBE EXSYMO CO., LTD.Inventors: Eisuke Tachibana, Taro Suzuki, Makoto Totani, Kouji Kondoh, Eijirou Miyagawa, Junya Kasahara, Takao Arima

Publication number: 20150170549Abstract: A fixed-star projection cylinder capable of reproducing a color unique to each fixed star for reproduction of situation of real starlit sky is provided. In a fixed-star projection cylinder for a planetarium to project fixed stars shown in a fixed-star template 2 as fixed-star images onto a screen, a spectral type is defined for each individual fixed star on the fixed-star template, and light emitted from a plurality of light sources 5 differing in color temperature or color tone are guided to corresponding individual fixed stars by light guiding means 4 such that the colors based on the defined spectral types can be reproduced in projection.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 31, 2014Publication date: June 18, 2015Applicant: Kabushikigaisha Goto Kogaku KenkyushoInventor: Makoto Kasahara

Patent number: 7293881Abstract: A video projector projects an image without reducing the resolution, onto the full dome surface by the use of a single-eye fisheye lens. The video projector has a single-eye fisheye lens for projecting a beam of light from an image display device onto the dome surface, a plurality of image display devices jointly uses the fisheye lens. The beams of light from the respective image display devices are combined and sent to the fisheye lens. Projected regions of images displayed on the respective image display devices correspond to certain sections of the dome surface. The projection image extends throughout the full dome surface.Type: GrantFiled: April 26, 2005Date of Patent: November 13, 2007Assignee: Kabushikigaisya Goto Kogaku KenkyujyoInventor: Makoto Kasahara

Publication number: 20060139579Abstract: An image is projected, without reducing in resolution, onto the full dome surface by the use of a single-eye fisheye lens. A video projector has a single-eye fisheye lens 7 for projecting a beam of light from an image display device onto the dome surface, a plurality of image display devices 11 and 21 jointly using the fisheye lens 7, and means 5 for combining the beams of light from the respective image display devices and sending the combination to the fisheye lens 7. Projection regions of images displayed on the respective image display devices correspond to sections A1 and A2 of the dome surface, and the projection regions to be projected onto the respective sections are combined to create a projection image continuing throughout the full dome surface.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 26, 2005Publication date: June 29, 2006Inventor: Makoto Kasahara

Patent number: 6142635Abstract: An image to be projected is deformed to obtain a projected image having small distortion. An image deforming device constituted by an optical fiber bundle is arranged in front of an original of a projector arranged at a position other than the center of a dome, so that the image of the original is transmitted from an end face on the incident side of an image correction device to an end face on the emission side as images divided into pixels using optical fibers as units. A secondary image subjected to predetermined deformation is displayed on the end face on the emission side, and the secondary image is projected on a dome surface to obtain a projected image which is free from distortion by the same manner as that performed when the original is projected from the center of the dome onto the same projection surface.Type: GrantFiled: July 20, 1999Date of Patent: November 7, 2000Assignee: Kabushikigaisya Goto Kogaku KenkyujyoInventors: Makoto Kasahara, Hiromitsu Ota, Mitsugu Omori, Hiroaki In, Hidehiko Miyazaki

Patent number: 5417542Abstract: A method and an apparatus for carrying a workpiece for improving efficiency in a workpiece carrying operation. In the apparatus, a moving member having a workpiece holding member is driven with a linear motion in a horizontal plane along a carrier passage, and the workpiece holding member is driven with a revolutional motion in a vertical plane around a revolution axis displaced from a center of the workpiece holding member, while the workpiece holding member maintains an orientation in which a holder holding the workpiece points downwards. The holder of the workplece holding member is controlled to sequentially carry out holding of the workpiece and releasing of the workpiece at lowest positions of the workpiece holding member in the revolutional motion, so as to realize a continuous workpiece carrying operation.Type: GrantFiled: September 25, 1992Date of Patent: May 23, 1995Assignees: Japan Tobacco, Kabushiki Kaisha ToshibaInventors: Hisao Suzuki, Kazuhiro Tokitsu, Makoto Kasahara, Kiyoe Imai, Kouichi Yumita, Tadashi Munakata, Yoshinobu Ishikawa, Etuo Minamihama, Takatomo Izume, Yasuharu Ujiie, Masamichi Kato
