  • Publication number: 20200029430
Abstract: A wiring substrate at which a metal wire is formed includes a substrate containing a resin as a main component and an organic substance having a hydroxyl group; and a metal plating layer constituting the metal wire. A formation portion of the metal wire at one surface of the substrate is rougher than a non-formation portion of the metal wire at the one surface of the substrate, and has the organic substance in a state of being embedded in the resin, and a catalyst. The wiring substrate with such a configuration can increase the adhesion of the metal wire to the substrate.

  • Patent number: 10347499
Abstract: In a method of an embodiment, radicals, which are generated from a processing gas, is adsorbed to a layer to be etched without applying a high-frequency bias to a lower electrode, in an adsorption step. In the subsequent etching step, ions, which are generated from the processing gas, are drawn into the layer to be etched by applying a high-frequency bias to the lower electrode. The adsorption step and the etching step are alternately repeated. In the adsorption step, a density of radicals is 200 or greater times a density of ions. In the etching step, RF energy having a power density of 0.07 W/cm2 or less is supplied to the lower electrode or a high-frequency bias having a power density of 0.14 W/cm2 or less is supplied to the lower electrode for a period of 0.5 seconds or less.

  • Patent number: 10345100
Abstract: An object is to quantify the texture such as irregularity and gloss of a metal surface. Centers of Lab chromaticity distributions are identified (S145), and one of the Lab chromaticity distribution is entirely shifted (mapped) by deviations ?A, ?B and ?L of a central coordinate, such that one of central coordinates of two distributions U1(L,a,b) and U2(L,a,b) matches with the other central coordinate (S146). A texture spread index that indicates a difference in spatial spread is then computed (S147). This configuration computes the spatial spread of the Lab chromaticity distribution in a three-dimensional space, and quantifies the irregularity of an inspection plane by diffraction phenomenon of illumination light. The difference in spread other than the color is applicable to evaluation of the irregularity of the metal surface or the like.

  • Publication number: 20190152530
Abstract: In a vehicle lower portion structure, a plurality of cross members are suspended along a vehicle width direction between a pair of side rails. Further, an oil pan guard is suspended along a longitudinal direction between a No. 2 cross member and a No. 3 cross member to protect an oil pan of a transmission from below. When a vehicle collides on its front, engagement between the oil pan guard and the cross member is released, to thereby prevent a decrease in the amount of collision energy to be absorbed by the pair of side rails.
