  • Patent number: 5605959
Abstract: A particulate vinyl polymer is provided. At least 95 wt. % of its particles have a minor axis A and a major axis B, which are in a relationship of 1.ltoreq.B/A.ltoreq.1.5 and individually range from 30 .mu.m to 400 .mu.m. The polymer has an acid value of from 30 to 150 mgKOH/g. This particulate vinyl polymer is excellent in work-ability such as the solubility in aqueous medium, and is useful as a raw material for water-base coating compositions having superb dispersion of a pigment and excellent waterproofness.

  • Patent number: 4448323
Abstract: A fuel filler tube is secured to an inside constructional member of a vehicle with its fuel inlet mouth portion spacedly received in a cup-shaped member secured to a vehicle outer panel. An outwardly projected bumper member having a considerable size is mounted or formed on the fuel filler tube in the vicinity of the fuel inlet mouth of the tube. Thus, upon a vehicle collision inducing a considerable displacement of the filler tube relative to the cup-shaped member, initial collision occurs between the bumper member and the cup-shaped member thereby suppressing the collision of the filler cap with the cup-shaped member.

  • Patent number: 4446380
Abstract: A keyless vehicle device actuating system for an automotive vehicle combined with an electronic vehicle door unlocking system. Since the vehicle devices, in particular, the engine starting motor can be rotated only when the driver first opens the vehicle doors in accordance with a predetermined code, secondly depresses a plurality of push-button switches arranged within the passenger compartment in accordance with another predetermined code and lastly depresses a starting switch, even if the vehicle doors are opened incorrectly, it is possible to prevent the vehicle which can be started by only depressing a starting switch from being stolen easily. The system according to the present invention comprises a vehicle device actuating signal generating section similar to a door unlocking signal generating section, an ANDing section and a plurality of devices actuated in response to the ANDed signal, in addition to an ordinary electronic door locking system.

  • Patent number: 4356740
Abstract: A tiltable pedal is assembled with a pin which is laterally welded to an accelerator lever. The pedal has two lugs formed with mutually aligned through holes. At least one of the lugs is further formed with a V-shaped slit which is contiguous with the through hole. The pin is laterally pressed through the slit into the through hole to allow tilting of the pedal about the pin. An end portion of the tilt spring is extended across the V-shaped slit to prevent the pin from moving laterally out of the through hole and through the V-shaped slit.

  • Patent number: 4111275
Abstract: A cab-over is equipped with a cooler condenser disposed under the cab floor and spaced forwards from a radiator for an engine mounted under the cab. The condenser has a core face thereof slanted forwards or backwards by a predetermined angle from the vertical of the vehicle. With this arrangement, the effect of relatively hot air passed through the condenser to the radiator has been minimized and sufficient relatively cool air passing through the radiator for preventing of overheat of the engine has been secured.
