  • Publication number: 20040153688
Abstract: An abnormality management device for an image forming device is disclosed, in which the abnormality management device is connected via a network to an image forming device comprised of a plurality of selectively used paper supply units and/or paper discharge units and which manages abnormalities in the image forming device. The abnormality management device includes a display unit, an abnormality detection unit, and an abnormality display unit. The display unit displays an image of an image forming device on which the plurality of the paper supply units or paper discharge units can be identified. The abnormality detection unit detects abnormalities in the paper supply units or the paper discharge units based upon equipment data acquired from the image forming device. The abnormality display unit displays with emphasis the location of the paper supply unit or paper discharge unit in which an abnormality was detected by the abnormality detection unit on the image of the image forming device.

  • Publication number: 20030113616
Abstract: A battery having: an exterior can; and an electrode body packed in the exterior can, the electrode body being formed in such a manner that a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate are wound into a spiral electrode shape through a separator, wherein an electrically insulating pressure sensitive adhesive tape is stuck to an end portion of the positive electrode plate and wound on the negative electrode plate at an outermost circumferential portion of the spiral electrode body to thereby fix the spiral electrode body.

  • Publication number: 20020045097
Abstract: After coating a hydrogen absorbing alloy slurry obtained by kneading a hydrogen absorbing alloy powder 12a, a polyethylene oxide (PEO) powder as a binder 12b, and a suitable amount of water (a solvent for binder) to both surfaces of a metal core plate (active material holder) made of a punching metal, the core plate is dried. Then, after removing the active material layer 13 from the core plate 11 by a means such as cutting and the like, a definite amount of water (a solvent for binder) is sprayed to the cut surface (the exposed surface of the core plate 11) to attach the water to the cur surface followed by drying to provide a hydrogen absorbing alloy electrode 10, which is disposed at the outermost side of the electrode group.

  • Patent number: 6207267
Abstract: A magnetic recording medium comprising a flexible non-magnetic support, a non-magnetic primer layer containing a binder and non-magnetic particles, formed on the support, and a magnetic layer having a thickness of at most 0.5 &mgr;m and containing a binder and a ferromagnetic acicular metal powder having an average long axis length (L) of at most 0.20 &mgr;m and an aspect ratio (K) of at most 15, formed on the primer layer, wherein the variation (D) of the interface between the magnetic layer and the non-magnetic primer layer is represented by D≦2L/K.

  • Patent number: 6162528
Abstract: A magnetic recording medium including a nonmagnetic support, a lower nonmagnetic layer, and an upper magnetic layer. The nonmagnetic support has a surface. The lower nonmagnetic layer is provided on the surface of the nonmagnetic support. The lower nonmagnetic layer is formed by coating a nonmagnetic coating solution including carbon and a binder. The nonmagnetic coating solution has thixotropy. The upper magnetic layer is provided on the lower nonmagnetic layer and has an average thickness of at most 0.3 .mu.m. The upper magnetic layer includes ferromagnetic powder. A surface roughness of the surface of the nonmagnetic support is limited according to a degree of the thixotropy of the nonmagnetic coating solution.

  • Patent number: 5669030
Abstract: In a film feeder for use in an automatic developing machine, a cutter control circuit actuates a cutter using electrical energy from a utility power source and electrical energy stored in a capacitor if a film end sensor detects the tail end of a film during normal feeding conditions. In the event that the film end sensor detects the tail end of the film in the event of a power failure, the cutter control circuit actuates the cutter using the electrical energy stored in the capacitor. This makes it possible to actuate the cutter even in the event of a power failure as well as to reduce the capacitance of the utility power source to a small level.
