  • Patent number: 11481226
Abstract: A first and a second control modules of a control apparatus of the present disclosure mutually monitor a state of the other end and send a reset request signal to a monitoring module when the other end should be reset. The monitoring module sends a reset signal to one of the first and second control modules when the monitoring module receives the reset request signal indicating that the one of the first and second control modules should be reset from the other and the monitoring module does not send the reset signal to the other. The monitoring module prohibits a reset of one of the first and second control modules when the monitoring module receives the reset request signal indicating that the one of the first and second control modules should be reset from the other and the monitoring module sends the reset signal to the other.

  • Patent number: 11095475
Abstract: There is provided a communication failure detection device configured to detect a communication failure of a two-wire CAN communication device that makes communication between nodes according to a CAN protocol. Each of the nodes is provided with two signal detection circuits configured to detect signals on the two communication lines. Each node makes communication for failure dentification to output signals of predetermined patterns onto the two communication lines when an execution condition is satisfied in response to the occurrence of a protocol error of CAN communication. Each node then performs failure identification to identify the type of a failure based on a combination of the signals respectively detected by the two signal detection circuits during the communication for failure identification.

  • Patent number: 8597735
Abstract: Workpieces, which are conveyed by a conveying device along a conveying path, are heated by a heating and degreasing coil. Then, resin powder is downwardly sprayed from a nozzle of a coating device to each corresponding one of the workpieces, which are conveyed by the conveying device. The workpieces are thereafter heated by a heating and curing coil. At each of the heating coils, a dummy member, which is made of an electrically conductive material, is displaced from a retracted position to a forward position, which is located between the corresponding heating coil and a corresponding adjacent part of the conveying path of the conveying device, when an empty one of mount locations of the conveying device reaches the forward position of the dummy member.

  • Patent number: 8599288
Abstract: A noise-reduction apparatus includes an image-noise-reduction means having an operation means and a judgment means. The operation means shifts the level of the signal-value of a target-pixel so that an average of the signal-values of the target-pixel and pixels in a predetermined area in the vicinity of the target-pixel becomes a value at the origin of a color-space of each of a plurality of color-components, performs an operation for noise-reduction processing on the target-pixel and restores the level of the signal-value thereof based on the shifted level. The judgment means estimates a noise-amount of the target-pixel, calculates a statistic representing the noise of the target-pixel based on the signal-values of the target-pixel and the pixels in the predetermined area, compares the estimated noise-amount and the statistic, and determines, based on the result of comparison, which of the estimated noise-amount and the statistic to use for the operation of noise-reduction processing.
