    Abstract: The invention relates to printing print data and advertisement data and charging for the printing so that a printing fee is reduced in accordance with the printing of the advertisement data. A size of the advertisement data to be printed is input and the advertisement data and the input size are transmitted to a control apparatus. The control apparatus receives a print sheet size designation and output information, determines a layout which corresponds to a type of the output information, to secure an advertisement area for printing the advertisement data on the determined layout. The advertisement data is selected in accordance with the secured size in the layout, and at least one of a number of times of printing the advertisement data, a unit price of the advertisement data, print position settings of the advertisement data, a size adjusting method of the advertisement data, and an arrangement orientation of the advertisement data.

    Abstract: A terminal apparatus obtains desired information from information providers and prints the information in high quality as needed. The terminal adds advertisement information to the desired information, which reduces the cost for obtaining and printing the desired information. The terminal calculates the advertisement fee by counting the number of printing of the advertisement. The terminal charges the user, up to the maximum limit desired, for the information obtained and printed according to the print amount. The terminal allows the information providers to avoid paying the advertisement fee unlimitedly.

    Abstract: An object information processing apparatus includes a focussing unit for focussing light information from an object point; a light transmission unit for transmitting the light information from the object point to the focussing unit via first and second optical passages; and mask units provided respectively in the first and second optical passages in the light transmission unit and formed respectively with predetermined patternings which are in negative and positive relation to each other. By virture of the mask units, the light information from the object point is blocked into a plurality of distance informations from which distance patterns are obtained. The apparatus can recognize an object in three dimensions using the distance patterns.
