  • Publication number: 20080053762
Abstract: A brake disc guard is provided inside of a rim of a front wheel and mounted on a knuckle. A caliper is located in a cutout portion formed at a front portion of the brake disc guard. The caliper is supported through a caliper bracket to the knuckle. A large-diameter portion is formed at an upper front end portion of the brake disc guard. The large-diameter portion extends so as to cover the upper side of the caliper bracket and the caliper. A scraper is formed at the front end of the large-diameter portion so as to be bent radially outwardly. The spacing a between the rim and the scraper is set to be the smallest. The dirt deposited on the rim is scraped off by the scraper, so that the dirt separated from the rim is prevented from falling onto the caliper.

  • Publication number: 20060049006
Abstract: A brake caliper support structure and a brake caliper structure for a saddle-ride type all terrain vehicle can attain a reduction in size and weight of a disc brake and can scrape off mud and snow accumulated within a wheel. A distance from a point which represents the center of a front wheel to each of points which represent the axes of bolts located at the same positions as the caliper support portions or the first and second mounting portions of the caliper bracket is set longer than the distance from the point to a point which represents the center of a piston. A brake hose is to be prevented from undergoing an excessively large deflection during steering or during vehicular vibration.

  • Publication number: 20060049007
Abstract: A brake caliper structure of a straddle seat off-load vehicle includes a brake caliper having a caliper bracket, a caliper assembly connected to the caliper bracket by two connecting portions so that the caliper assembly can move relative to the caliper bracket to clamp a brake disc. One connecting portion includes a slide pin connected to the caliper assembly and slidably received in a guide hole in the caliper bracket for effectively guiding movement of the caliper assembly relative to the caliper bracket, and the other connecting portion includes a connecting screw as a fixed pin secured to the caliper bracket, and a rubber bushing as an elastic member disposed between the caliper assembly and the fixed pin for taking up the tilting of the brake disc.

  • Publication number: 20050167179
Abstract: A saddle ride type all-terrain vehicle includes left and right front wheels supported independently of each other on a vehicle body such that driving power is transmitted to said front wheels by way of a pair of left and right drive shafts extending from a driving source side. The vehicle also includes universal couplings provided at opposite end portions of each of the drive shafts, covered by rubber boots. The vehicle further includes a protector for covering the rubber boots.

  • Patent number: 6851036
Abstract: A data processing system and a data processor in which the control information for controlling an external device, especially, a device having a PCMCIA interface is stored in an address translation circuit for translating a first address outputted from a CPU to a second address in association with the first or second address.

  • Patent number: 6532528
Abstract: A data processor in which a speed of an address translating operation is raised is disclosed. A translation lookaside buffer is divided into a buffer for data and a buffer for instruction, address translation information for instruction is also stored into a translation lookaside buffer for data, and when a translation miss occurs in a translation lookaside buffer for instruction, new address translation information is fetched from the translation lookaside buffer for data. A high speed of the address translating operation can be realized as compared with that in case of obtaining address translation information from an external address translation table each time a translation miss occurs in the translation lookaside buffer for instruction.

  • Patent number: 5246744
Abstract: The invention relates to a plasma CVD method for the deposition of a thin film of amorphous silicon, or an amorphous silicon alloy, on a substrate by glow discharge decomposition of a raw material gas such as silane gas. The degradation of the photoconductivity of the obtained amorphous silicon film by irradiation with light is suppressed by mixing xenon gas with the raw material gas such that at the entrance to the reaction chamber the volume ratio of xenon gas to the raw material gas is not less than 1 and, preferably, not more than 30. A nearly comparable effect can be gained, and the material cost can be reduced, by mixing 1 part by volume of the raw material gas with 0.05 to 1 part of xenon gas and 5 to 30 parts of hydrogen gas.
