  • Publication number: 20240073674
Abstract: The present invention discloses methods and systems for establishing data communication at a network device. The method includes identifying a cellular network by the network device. After that, the network device sends a request to an MSA for an embedded subscriber identification module (eSIM) profile of the cellular network. The MSA may or may not have an eSIM profile of the cellular network available. When an eSIM profile of the cellular network is available, the network device receives the eSIM profile information from the MSA. The network device then sends a request for data communication access to the cellular network using the eSIM profile information to obtain data communication access through the cellular network. The network device may comprise at least one universal integrated circuit card (UICC) and/or embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC).

  • Patent number: 10221841
Abstract: A fluid pump has a housing, a chamber having an inlet and an outlet, an inlet valve, an outlet valve, and a plunger. The plunger has a plunger tube extending into the chamber and supported for movement, on a suction stroke, to introduce a fluid into the chamber via the inlet, and, on a discharge stroke, to displace the fluid from the chamber via the outlet. An electromagnetic driving unit moves the plunger in two opposite directions. A magnetic core is located adjacent the plunger for establishing a magnetic path across the electromagnetic driving unit and the plunger. The core is located in the path of movement of the plunger on the suction stroke, and is protected or covered by a material against contact with the fluid in the housing.

  • Patent number: 6749028
Abstract: A trigger assembly for controlling an electric power tool including a motor comprises a base for fixing within the power tool and a trigger supported by the base for inward and outward movement, the trigger being resiliently biassed outwards. The base has a housing including an opening open to the interior of the power tool. A switch provided in the housing is operable in response to the movement of the trigger to switch on and off the motor. An electronic operating circuitry provided in the housing includes a solid-state device for switching at a frequency having a variable duty cycle to control the operation of the motor when the switch is closed. Also included is a flywheel diode for the motor, which is operable when the solid-state device is non-conducting while switching. The diode is supported at or adjacent the housing opening to facilitate heat dissipation.

  • Patent number: 6736220
Abstract: A trigger assembly for controlling an electric power tool including a motor comprises a base for fixing within the power tool and a trigger supported by the base for inward and outward movement. The base has a housing, a first mechanical switch provided in the housing and operable to switch on and off the motor, and an electronic operating circuitry provided in the housing for controlling the operation of the motor when the first switch is closed. The base includes a slider guided within the housing for movement by the trigger to operate the first switch and the operating circuitry. Also included is a second mechanical switch provided within the housing and operable in response to the movement of the trigger to switch on and off an auxiliary device for the power tool. The auxiliary device is located externally of the base and is operable independently of the operating circuitry.

  • Patent number: 6717080
Abstract: A trigger assembly for an electric power tool including a motor comprises a base for fixing within the power tool and a trigger supported by the base for inward and outward movement. A mechanical switch in the base switches on and off the motor. An operating circuitry including a solid-state device in the base controls the motor when the switch is closed. A slider guided within the base for movement by the trigger operates the switch and the operating circuitry. The switch has a fixed contact, a moving contact pivotable into contact with and out of contact from the fixed contact, and a spring biassing the moving contact towards the closed position. The moving contact has a first end for contacting the fixed contact and a second end for engagement by the slider to cause pivoting of the moving contact to the open position. Two such switches are used as main and bypass switches, with their moving contacts supported by a common conductive support together forming a switch module to facilitate installation.
