  • Patent number: 10103658
Abstract: A microcomputer of a drive control device for controlling the driving of a brushless motor has a positioning part and a torque acceleration control unit. The positioning unit controls the power to be supplied to the windings, to thereby position the rotor at a drive start position which is a position of the rotor relative to the stator at which the drive control of the brushless motor can start, before starting the drive control of the brushless motor. The torque acceleration control unit controls the power to be supplied to the windings so that a torque acceleration falls within a predetermined range that the collision stress generated when the outer wall of the end of the shaft collides with the inner wall of the hole of an impeller (rotating member) is equal to or smaller than a predetermined value, when the rotor is positioned.

  • Patent number: 9780707
Abstract: A drive controller that controls a drive of a motor. The drive controller performs a collision force moderation control during a motor start time, during which a collision force in a collision between a shaft outwall with an impeller hole inwall for a positioning is moderated, by changing a power supply at a stage transition time of transiting from a position detection to a position determination. The maximum value of a first output value during a position detection time is set to be greater than a first threshold that at least causes a rotation number of the motor to yield a detectable induction voltage. A second output value during a position determination time is set to be lower than a second threshold that causes a wear or a breakage of an impeller by the collision force.

  • Patent number: 7497208
Abstract: A fuel supply device mounted on an automotive vehicle includes a fuel pump and a sub-tank containing the fuel pump therein. The sub-tank and the fuel pump are submerged in fuel contained in a fuel tank. Operation of the fuel pump is controlled in a switching manner thereby to supply the fuel contained in the fuel tank to an internal combustion engine. When the fuel tank is made of a resin material, electromagnetic noises generated in the switching operation of the fuel pump are emitted from the fuel pump through the fuel tank, interfering with radio waves received by a receiver mounted on an automotive vehicle. To shield such noises, the fuel pump is disposed in the sub-tank that is made of a metallic material and grounded to a body of the vehicle. In this manner, the noises from the fuel pump are surely intercepted.

  • Patent number: 7113376
Abstract: In a control apparatus for a motor, an over-current protection circuit detects an abnormality in a motor current forcibly turns off a MOSFET. The over-current protection circuit has a timer function and a time switching function. In the timer operation, the over-current protection circuit stops an abnormality detection signal for an ON time period before producing the signal for an OFF time period when a current flowing through the motor exceeds a predetermined threshold value. The time switching function is for controlling to lengthen the OFF time period to a relatively larger value in comparison with the ON time period.

  • Patent number: 7038415
Abstract: A temperature sensor (33) detects the temperature of a MOS transistor (7), and a current detecting circuit (35) detects current flowing in the MOS transistor (7). When the voltage corresponding to the detected temperature or the voltage corresponding to the detected current is increased to a threshold value or more, an overheat state detecting signal and further switching signal is set to a high level. As a result, a switch circuit in a driving circuit (17) is turned on, and the gate resistance value becomes the parallel value of a resistor (25), and the PWM frequency in the PWM control circuit is lowered, whereby the switching loss of the MOS transistor (7) can be reduced under the state that the motor (2) is rotated.

  • Patent number: 6623838
Abstract: Using a mold equipped with a rib-forming member capable of moving forward and backward relative to the mold cavity, produced is a lightweight, hollow resin molding having a reinforcing rib structure in the hollow area, from a fiber-containing thermoplastic resin having a fiber content of from 10 to 70% by weight. To produce the molding, a melt of a fiber-containing thermoplastic resin is injected into the mold cavity or is injected thereinto under compression, then the movable mold member is moved backward in the direction in which the mold cavity is expandable, and after the start of the mold member moving, a gas is introduced into the resin melt. Even though the molding has a hollow structure and has a large surface area, it has good stiffness and high strength, and has good appearances. The weight of the molding can be well controlled and reduced to any desired degree. The molding has many applications in various fields.
