  • Publication number: 20050038616
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for measuring jitter tolerance for diagnosis by instructing a jitter adding circuit disposed precedingly to an intended circuit block to generate jitter with a desired magnitude, monitoring at least one output signal outputted from an LSI to be evaluated for judging on whether or not the characteristic of this output signal satisfies a desired standard. It also relates to a jitter tolerance diagnostic apparatus to which this method is applied. According to the jitter tolerance diagnostic method and apparatus of the present invention, with a simple interface provided, it is possible to measure jitter tolerance of the entire LSI to be evaluated and of an intended circuit block therein.

  • Publication number: 20030095109
Abstract: When a user indicates a point on a display screen of a computer using a pen sensor, first the display screen is divided into a plurality of areas and the areas are displayed by mutually different colors or brightnesses. The plurality of colors or brightnesses displayed are scanned by the pen sensor and the colors or brightnesses detected by the light receiver to judge in which area the indicated point is located. Next, the judged area is further divided into a plurality of areas which are displayed by mutually different colors or brightnesses. Next, a routine similar to the above is successively repeated to narrow down the area in which the point indicated by the pen sensor is located and finally determine the position of the point, that is, the XY coordinates on the display screen.

  • Patent number: 6409965
Abstract: An ingot is made from a used target of 30 weight % or more, and new metals of the same components, and recycled alloy powder is made by a gas atomizing process. Magnetic permeability is controlled not to exceed 2 by adjusting the content of rare earth metals in rare earth alloy powder to be at least 35 weight %. By blending the recycled alloy powder with other powder to produce alloy powder containing at least 50 weight % of rare earth alloy powder having a magnetic permeability not higher than 2 and containing at least 65 weight % of rare earth alloy powder. By sintering the alloy powder under pressure and thereafter cutting top, bottom and side surfaces of the sintered material, a target having a magnetic permeability not higher than 2 and having a thickness not less than 8 mm is fabricated.

  • Patent number: 6335611
Abstract: A current monitoring circuit for monitoring a charging/discharging current of a secondary battery that achieves high-precision monitoring and that restricts an increase in the circuit scale. An amplifier amplifies a voltage of a current sense resistor generated by a charging/discharging current under a various amplification degrees. A comparator compares an output voltage of the amplifier with a reference voltage. A controller controls a reference voltage to be supplied to each unit and controls the amplification degree of the amplifier, based on a result of the comparison. An A/D converter A/D converts an output voltage of the amplifier. A numerical-value converter converts a digital value obtained by the conversion of the A/D converter into a numerical value corresponding to a charging/discharging current, under the control of the controller. When an excess current has been detected, a switch is set to a non-conductive state, to thereby disconnect the battery from the external unit.
