  • Publication number: 20240098222
Abstract: A videophone system includes a processor which selectively sets a television (TV) broadcast program viewing function mode and videophone function mode in response to manual operation of a remote control, a decoder which performs, in the TV program view mode, a TV program-use decode function for decoding a broadcast program signal received from a TV tuner to thereby display it on a display screen while producing audio sounds by loudspeakers and which performs, in the videophone function mode a videophone-use decode function for decoding a videophone signal received from a distant party to thereby display on the screen an image of the distant party using the screen and speakers, and an encoder which performs a videophone-use encode function for encoding a video signal from a camera and a voice signal from a microphone to generate a videophone signal, which is sent to the distant party via a network.

  • Patent number: 9579266
Abstract: An oil in water emulsion cosmetic composition for skin, in which vitamin A and its derivatives are stably incorporated and which has superior feeling in use (skin familiarity or feeling of skin absorption, feeling of efficacy after application) and base composition stability (emulsion stability) with the passage of time. The oil in water emulsion cosmetic composition for skin comprises, relative to the total amount of the cosmetic composition, (a) from 0.01 to 4% by mass of vitamin A and its derivative, (b) from 0.6 to 4% by mass of a nonionic surfactant comprising three of (b-1) sorbitan tristearate, (b-2) polyethylene glycol stearate with from 20 to 120 mols of polyethylene glycol added thereto, (b-3) glyceryl stearate having an HLB of from 5 to 8, and (c) from 1 to 10% by mass of a higher alcohol having from 14 to 24 carbon atoms, wherein the blend ratio (by mass) of component (b-1) to component (b) is from 0.1 to 0.8.

  • Patent number: 7928180
Abstract: The problem of the invention is to provide a novel biodegradable polymer without water solubility (hygroscopicity), but with moldability and excellent water disintegratability and biodegradability, a production method thereof, a molded product thereof and applications thereof. The biodegradable polymer of the invention is a biodegradable polymer having one or more imine bonds within a molecule, characterized in that the imine bond constitutes part of a main chain structure of the biodegradable polymer. The biodegradable polymer preferably comprises a biodegradable unit and an imine unit having one or more imine bonds and has a chemical structure, in which the biodegradable units are linked by the imine unit.
