  • Patent number: 9887508
Abstract: A method for electrically conductively connecting the electrical conductors (3, 4) of two high voltage cables (1, 2) is provided. The conductors (3, 4) are exposed at their ends by removing the respective casing and they are then inserted from different sides into a pipe piece (5) in such a way that they rest against each other with their end faces extending perpendicular to their axis and level with the central throughholes. The conductors (3, 4) are then secured by means of the securing screws (6) in the pipe piece 5 and bores extending in radial direction are made through the throughholes into which the two conductors (3, 4) project in the area of their end faces. Finally, the contact screws of an electrically well conductive metal are screwed into the central throughholes and further into the bores.

  • Patent number: 8425265
Abstract: An arrangement for fastening an electrical conductor has a clamp (1) constructed as a pipe piece of metal and at least one clamping screw (2) for fastening an electrical conductor (3,4) in the clamp. The clamp has in its wall at least one throughhole provided with a thread for receiving the clamping screw. The clamping screw has a tubular contact part provided with an external thread and adapted to be screwed into the throughhole of the clamp, wherein the contact part has at its one axial end a contact surface for contacting an electrical conductor located in the clamp and along its extension with a circumferential intended breaking point a significant distance from the contact surface.

  • Patent number: 8097807
Abstract: Apparatus for a connecting point between high-voltage cables, each cable having a conductor, inner conductive layer, insulation, outer conductive layer, and a sheath over the outer conductive layer and in which the conductors, from which the surrounding layers have been removed, are conductively connected to one another. The arrangement has electrical screening elements and an integral elongated sleeve body, composed of elastic insulating material and a through-hole. The sleeve body has at its axial ends, which are intended for the cable to pass through, electrical control funnels which abut the outer conductive layers, from which the sheaths have been removed. The internal diameters of the through-hole in the sleeve body, at its axial ends, are for its use in a connecting point of cables, having an external diameter of their insulation which differs by at least 10 mm, different in a defined manner and adapted to the different external diameters.

  • Publication number: 20090277685
Abstract: An apparatus is specified for a junction point between two electrical high-voltage cables which each have an electrical conductor (1, 2), an inner conductive layer which rests thereon, insulation (5, 6) which surrounds the conductive layer, and an outer conductive layer (7, 8) which rests on the insulation, as well as a sheath which is fitted over the outer conductive layer. The conductors (1, 2), from which the surrounding layers have been removed, are electrically conductively connected to one another and the junction point of the two conductors is surrounded by electrical screening elements and an integral, elongated sleeve body (14), which is composed of elastic insulating material and has a through-hole, which sleeve body is equipped at its two axial ends, which are intended for the cable to pass through, with electrical control funnels (15, 16) which, in the fitted position, rest on the outer conductive layers (7, 8), from which the sheaths have been removed, of the two cables.
