Patent number: 10233117Abstract: A process and device separate off a volatile component from the off-gases in cement clinker production. Raw materials for cement clinker production are passed through a preheater with heat exchange with the off-gases and are then burnt in a rotary kiln. Owing to the heating in the preheater, the volatile component bound in the raw materials is vaporized and separated off. A first raw material stream having a relatively high concentration of the volatile component is applied to a first line of the preheater and a second raw material stream having a lower concentration of the volatile component is applied to a second line. The volatile component is separated off from the first substream of the off-gases. The first raw material stream heated to a temperature of at least 250° C. with the first substream of the off gases in the first line is combined with the second raw material stream.Type: GrantFiled: March 5, 2018Date of Patent: March 19, 2019Assignees: Scheuch GmbH, W&P Zement GmbH, A TEC Holding GmbHInventors: Manfred Lisberger, Andreas Steinwandter, Peter Schwei, Wolfgang Freimann

Patent number: 9283504Abstract: A bag filter assembly for cleaning dust-laden gases has a housing, which is divided into a filtered-gas side and an unfiltered-gas side by a bag bottom formed with openings. Several filter bags with a flat cross-section and support baskets are arranged in the bag bottom openings. The filter bags have support baskets and injector nozzle at the open end for conducting and accelerating compressed-air pulses for dedusting. The injector nozzle protrudes at least partially into the openings of the bag bottom. Sealing elements are arranged on the outside of the injector nozzle at the level of the bag bottom in order to form a defined gap for a defined compression of the filter bag between the sealing elements and the jacket surface of the opening in the bag bottom and thus to independently seal the filter bag with respect to the opening of the bag bottom.Type: GrantFiled: April 4, 2012Date of Patent: March 15, 2016Assignee: Scheuch GmbHInventors: Günter Schwarzl, Manfred Lisberger, Jürgen Daxdobler, Josef Helml

Patent number: 9051215Abstract: A method and a device remove mercury from exhaust gases during a production of cement clinker. The device contains a pre-heating stage, a feed point for raw materials required for the production of the cement clinker, a rotary kiln for burning the raw materials, a filter stage for removing dust from the exhaust gases conducted in the main flow, and a raw mix mill for partially mill drying the raw materials. A circuit for the mercury in the exhaust gases is formed between the pre-heating stage and the raw mix mill or the filter stage. To achieve good mercury removal at low cost, a sub-flow of 1 to 30 volume percent of the exhaust gases is branched off from the main flow of the exhaust gases having a temperature of at least 300° C. A separator and thereafter at least one stage for removing mercury are arranged in the sub-flow.Type: GrantFiled: May 21, 2012Date of Patent: June 9, 2015Assignee: Scheuch GmbHInventors: Andreas Steinwandter, Manfred Lisberger

Patent number: 7867760Abstract: A bioscrubber for purifying dirty gas has a circulated scrubbing liquid which contains water and microorganisms for degradation of the substances to be separated off from the dirty gas. The gas enters at an inlet, moves through a mass-transfer zone, where it undergoes a phase change from the gas phase to the liquid phase, and the clean gas exits through an outlet. The system has a device for irrigating the mass-transfer zone with the scrubbing liquid, and a tank for collecting the scrubbing liquid and for activating the microorganisms. The bioscrubber has particularly high separation rates and particularly low risk of blockage because, in at least one mass-transfer zone of the bioscrubber, there may be provided a package of adjacent vertical tubes and a cleaning device for cleaning the tubes. A mass-transfer zone can be formed by a spray tower.Type: GrantFiled: November 30, 2006Date of Patent: January 11, 2011Assignee: Scheuch GmbHInventor: Manfred Lisberger

Publication number: 20040043475Abstract: The invention relates to a system for purifying exhaust gases, comprising at least two filter stages (1, 2, 3), including at least one filter stage (1) for purifying the exhaust gases from particulate and aerosol-containing substances, and at least one filter stage (2) in the form of a biological filter for purifying the exhaust gases from organic compounds, aerosols and other odor-intensive substances by means of microorganisms. The second filter stage comprises a mass transfer zone (9) in which the exhaust gases are transformed from the gas phase to the liquid phase by the atomization of wash water. The aim of the invention is to provide a simple and inexpensive system with which high purification rates can be achieved. To this end, at least one filter stage (1, 3) is configured as a spray tower or wet electric filter using wash water, and the system is provided with means for maintaining a constant temperature in the thermophilic temperature range of from 45° C. to 75° C.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 1, 2003Publication date: March 4, 2004Inventors: Friedrich Proll, Manfred Lisberger
