Abstract: Operating device for motor vehicles, in particular having an output cylinder and/or an input cylinder connected hydraulically to the latter. The operating device includes a housing, a cylinder arranged in the housing and a piston which can be moved back and forth in the cylinder between a rest dead point and an operating dead point. The position of the piston in the cylinder is rendered detectable by signals from at least one switch. As many switches as desired are integrated into an input cylinder, thus rendering it possible to interrogate the position of the piston via a switch unit either for a display or for data reconciliation.

Abstract: A pressure plate sub assembly for urging a clutch disk against a flywheel in a friction clutch with automatic wear compensation includes a housing having a radially outer area connectable to the flywheel for rotating with the flywheel about an axis of rotation a pressure plate assembly mounted in the housing for rotation about the axis rotation and axial displacement with respect to the housing, a force accumulator mounted between the housing and the pressure plate for urging the pressure plate against the clutch disk, a wear readjusting device arranged between the accumulator and the pressure plate for compensating for wear of the clutch disk, and a clearance transmitter including a ring element with a wear registering device for registering wear of the friction clutch, a retaining arrrangement for retaining the ring element on the pressure plate sub assembly, and a readjusting arrangement for cooperating with the wear readjusting device.

Abstract: A quick fastener for mounting a hydraulic cylinder to a casing, whereby the hydraulic cylinder has a fastening device, and the casing has mounting structures in the casing wall. The mounting structures act in concert with the fastening device so that the hydraulic cylinder can be mounted to the casing wall without using tools. The fastening device includes primarily a fastening nose and a catch spring with a catch nose, as well as, a stop collar or groove. The mounting structures include at least one opening in the casing wall that have contours into which the fastening nose as well as the catch spring with the catch nose can be inserted. The advantage of this quick fastener lies in the simple sealing of the chambers on both sides of the casing wall, with a simple assembly, by inserting, in the direction of the axle of the hydraulic cylinder, and the swinging or positioning, as desired, of the hydraulic cylinder into the mounting position.
