    Abstract: A driver assistance system is provided in a motor vehicle, which driver assistance system executes at least active transverse guidance interventions. The driver assistance system can be activated while decoupled from the activation of a longitudinal control system but can also be active both, with and without longitudinal control, and includes both a traffic jam assistance sub-function and a track guiding assistant sub-function. The two sub-functions can be jointly activated and deactivated by a single on-/off-button. The driver assistance system is characterized by a special combination of the sub-functions track guiding assistance and traffic jam assistance. They each take turns depending on the presence of conditions, which are defined differently for each sub-function.

    Abstract: A process for the model-supported simulation of the coolant temperature in the case of a vehicle is provided. Conventionally, two temperature sensors are used for determining the coolant temperature, in which case one exists only for determining the temperature when an engine is switched off. Such an additional sensor is cost-intensive and should be avoided. The process avoids using an additional sensor by detecting the coolant temperature at the point in time of the switching-off of the driving engine. A current coolant temperature is continuously calculated while including vehicle-specific data using a temperature model. As an alternative, the current coolant temperature is not continuously calculated, but rather is calculated from a point in time as of which a theoretically determined coolant temperature falls below a specific value.

    Abstract: In a circuit configuration and a method for testing storage cells, all of the bit lines lead to one pair of fault lines which is first precharged with mutually-complementary logic levels. All of the storage cells of a word line are always read-out in parallel relative to one another. In the event of "no fault" the pair of fault lines retains its logic states, whereas in the case of a fault one of the fault lines changes its logic state through switching transistors. This is recognized and analyzed by a comparator circuit in the form of an XOR-circuit or an XNOR-circuit.
