  • Patent number: 10309706
Abstract: A cooling or freezing device includes an ice-making tray having a plurality of ice-piece-producing cavities distributed over at least two rows of cavities running parallel to one another. The device further includes a cold air supply system which provides a cold air stream which flows beneath the ice-making tray along the rows of cavities. There is additionally provided a temperature sensor unit which is inserted into a gap formed on the underside of the tray between a pair of adjacent ice-piece-producing cavities. The pair of cavities is formed by two ice-piece-producing cavities which, as seen in the direction of flow of the cold air stream, are the last ice-piece-producing cavities of two adjacent rows of cavities.

  • Publication number: 20190137092
Abstract: A lighting device for lighting an interior of a domestic electrical appliance is configured to be operated in different lighting modes which differ from one another by the spectral composition of the light of the lighting device delivered into the appliance interior. In some embodiments, the lighting device comprises two light-emitting diodes which differ from one another in terms of the spectral content of the light delivered thereby. The different lighting modes of the lighting device differ from one another by a different operating combination of the light-emitting diodes. By varying the duty cycle and the pulse frequency of a pulse-width-modulated control signal, a control assembly is able to transmit two different pieces of control information to the lighting module in order to control the two light-emitting diodes individually.

  • Publication number: 20190107290
Abstract: A pyrolytic oven comprises a housing and a muffle delimiting a cooking chamber inside the housing. A lighting module serves to illuminate the cooking chamber, wherein the lighting module has a cooling structure with an arrangement of cooling extensions formed in particular as pins or ribs, which project into a gap between housing and muffle and have a convection effect in a cooking mode of the oven. A fan device of the oven is configured and controlled to generate an air flow encountering the cooling structure in the gap in a pyrolytic mode of the oven. The cooling structure of the lighting module further has a wall formation, which in pyrolytic mode generates a wind shadow relative to the air flow for a number of cooling extensions of the cooling structure arranged distributed in a transverse plane to the flow direction of the air flow.

  • Patent number: 10222054
Abstract: A luminaire for installation in an electrical household appliance, e.g. a washing machine, includes, in one embodiment, two light-emitting diodes mounted on a circuit board, an elongated luminaire housing having a light exit area, which is formed by a light-permeable piece of the housing wall, in an area of a first longitudinal end of the luminaire housing, and also a light-conducting body having a light-conducting tube which extends inside the luminaire housing and which conducts, towards the light exit area, light which is given off by the light-emitting diodes. In one embodiment, a metalizing layer provided on the inner peripheral face of the light-conducting tube rests, in heat-transmitting contact with one or more conductive traces, on the upper side of the circuit board. In addition to its light-conducting function, the light-conducting tube thus fulfills a function for discharging heat from the circuit board.

  • Patent number: 10018410
Abstract: A refrigeration or freezing cabinet includes a cabinet corpus having an interior space configured for storing goods to be chilled or frozen, and a cabinet door which is attached to the cabinet corpus so as to be pivotable about a vertical axis of pivoting. In one embodiment, there is arranged or formed, on the inside of the door, a pair of rib members which extend vertically at a distance from one another and support one or more door shelving elements. In this embodiment, there is attached to one of the rib members of the pair, which rib member is located closer to the axis of pivoting, an illuminating strip designed with a plurality of lighting elements arranged vertically one above another. The illuminating strip is attached to that lateral face of the rib member in question which faces towards the interior space of the refrigerator when the door is open.
