Patent number: 10198253Abstract: Aspects of bundle administration and management are described. The use of bundles, as described herein, may be relied upon to assist users with the installation of applications associated with artifacts. In one embodiment, a bundle includes both a manifest and an artifact. A computing device may open the bundle and parse the manifest to identify an application for the artifact. The computing device may evaluate a status of a qualification to the application and if the status meets the qualification, then install the application. Thus, with the combination of the manifest and the artifact in the bundle, it is not necessary that a user search for and identify an application associated with the artifact (e.g., a data or content file), because the computing device may reference the manifest to ascertain the application and, based upon one or more qualifications, for example, install the application automatically for the user.Type: GrantFiled: April 16, 2015Date of Patent: February 5, 2019Assignee: AIRWATCH LLCInventors: Manjunath Bhat, Ramani Panchapakesan, Anand Balasubramanian, Sridhara Babu Kommireddy, Anil Jagarlamudi

Patent number: 10146950Abstract: Systems herein allow a content manager to share portions of a document with different groups of users. The system can parse the document into screen shots of each page along with an information bundle that describes how to format content on each page. When a user accesses a document, the system can send the user a permitted portion rather than the entire document. The permitted portion can include one or more screen bundle. The user device can execute an application that reads the information bundle and formats content for display on the user device.Type: GrantFiled: January 29, 2016Date of Patent: December 4, 2018Assignee: AIRWATCH LLCInventors: Arjun Kochhar, Lakshmikanth Raju, Manjunath Bhat, Marcos Mendez

Patent number: 10129240Abstract: Disclosed are various examples for facilitating distribution of security codes for a two-factor authentication scheme or one-time passwords. Security codes can represent one-time passwords or shared secrets used to seed one-time password algorithms. The security codes can be sent through restricted communications channel to a client device. Rather than using an insecure communication link such as SMS for communication of security codes, the security codes can be sent through the restricted communications channel to reduce the possibility of leakage of the security codes.Type: GrantFiled: November 6, 2017Date of Patent: November 13, 2018Assignee: Airwatch LLCInventors: Manjunath Bhat, Subhashish Pattajoshi, Devdutt Rajaram, Nithin Bhaktha

Publication number: 20180307660Abstract: Disclosed are various examples for generating, storing, and loading references separate from a file. A request can be received to generate a reference for a file. A data object can be generated corresponding to the reference. The data object can include characteristics of the file proximate to an area in the file associated with the reference. The data object can be stored in a data store associated with the file. A request can be received to open the file. The file can be loaded from the data store. The position of the reference within the file can be determined based on a stored data object. The file can be rendered including the reference at the determined position.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 7, 2018Publication date: October 25, 2018Inventors: Arjun Kochhar, Lakshmikanth Raju, Manjunath Bhat, Gerard T. Murphy, Marcos Raul Mendez

Patent number: 10051045Abstract: Disclosed are examples that relate to searching for content associated with applications. In various examples, a system can include a computing device and a search interface component executable by the computing device. The search interface component can cause the computing device to obtain and validate a search query from a search component. The search interface component can search a search index of restricted application content that corresponds with the search query. The restricted application content is associated with a sandbox for a restricted application. The search interface component can also cause the computing device to provide search results to the search component.Type: GrantFiled: December 21, 2017Date of Patent: August 14, 2018Assignee: AirWatch LLCInventors: Manjunath Bhat, Vivek Ratilal Vekariya, Raghvendra Singh, Dheeraj Bhati

Patent number: 10021050Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for maintaining a collection of documents and user-defined messages made in conversations such that the collection may be accessed in a secure and manageable manner. A user-defined message may be stored by a collection control application in at least one data store according to a message storage policy and a portion of the user-defined message may be associated with at least one file in a collection of files. A manifest may be generated that enables access to the portion of the user-defined message and the at least one file. The manifest may comprise a location reference for each of the plurality of files in the collection of files and the user-defined message and an indication that the portion of the user-defined message is associated with the at least one file in the collection of files.Type: GrantFiled: April 20, 2015Date of Patent: July 10, 2018Assignee: AirWatch LLCInventors: Ramani Panchapakesan, Manjunath Bhat, Sridhara Babu Kommireddy, Anil Jagarlamudi

Publication number: 20170053136Abstract: Disclosed are various examples for implementations of policy-based trusted peer-to-peer connections. A computing device can receive a message from a first client device, the message specifying a public address of the first client device and an identifier of the second client, device. The computing device can then send a query to a computing device, wherein the query specifies an identifier of the first client device and the identifier of the second client device. The computing device can also determine that the first client device is authorized to communicate with the second client device based on a response to the query received from the second computing device. In some instances, the computing device can then send the public address of the first client device to the second client device.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 19, 2015Publication date: February 23, 2017Inventors: SEEMA KADAVAN, MANJUNATH BHAT, SHANTI KAMICHETTY, SACHIN HALLAD, APARNA MANU, MANU NAZARETH

Publication number: 20170046339Abstract: Disclosed are examples that relate to searching for audio in multimedia files. A transcript specification can be obtained from a file manager that provides restricted access to files associated with an enterprise. The transcript specification can include transcript data representing audio for multiple time segments of a multimedia file. A search result can be generated for a search query. The search result can indicate that the search query matches the transcript data for a particular time segment of the multimedia file. The particular time segment of the multimedia file can be retrieved from the file manager.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 28, 2015Publication date: February 16, 2017Inventors: VIJAYKUMAR BHAT, RAMANI PANCHAPAKESAN, MANJUNATH BHAT, ILANCHEZHIAN KUPPUSAMY, SACHIN VAS, YASHASWINI KANTHRAJ, MAHESH KAVATAGE

Publication number: 20170026444Abstract: Disclosed are various examples of providing a client device with media content based on policies applied to the client devices. A computing device receives a request for media content from a client device. A computing device also receives a device identifier and a current device context from the client device. The computing device identifies a policy applicable to the requested media content based at least in part on the current device context. The computing device then selects a component of the media content to send to the client device based at least in part on the applicable policy. Finally, the computing device sends the selected component of the media content to the client device.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 15, 2015Publication date: January 26, 2017Inventors: MANJUNATH BHAT, NITIN SETHI, THEJO NAIDU
