  • Publication number: 20230107049
Abstract: A method of determining the risk that a subject will develop urinary stone disease (USD) or hyperoxaluria is described. The method includes conducting a differential abundance analysis of the bacteria present in a stool and/or urine sample obtained from the subject, determining the ratio of bacteria associated with health to bacteria associated with USD or hyperoxaluria present in the subject’s stool and/or urine sample, and assigning a level of risk for developing USD or hyperoxaluria based on the ratio.

  • Patent number: 11228876
Abstract: A device receives sensor data for a group of user equipment (UE) that are located within or on a structure. The device determines, based on a set of measured barometric pressures identified by the sensor data, a set of relative altitudes that identify altitudes of the group of UEs relative to each other. The device determines, based on at least a portion of the sensor data and relative altitude data that identifies the set of relative altitudes, and for each UE of the group of UEs, a floor on which the UE is located. The device causes, based on determining respective floors on which the UEs of the group of UEs are located, a data structure to store a mapping of each UE to the respective floors. The device performs one or more actions based on the mapping.

  • Patent number: 11143506
Abstract: A device determines, periodically over time, geographic locations of the device. The device receives altitude values that identify altitudes for the geographic locations. The device determines measured barometric pressures for the geographic locations. The device determines expected barometric pressures for the geographic locations based on a reference altitude associated with a reference location, reference barometric pressures associated with the reference location, and the altitudes for the geographic locations. The device determines a barometric pressure bias that is based on respective differences between at least a subset of the expected barometric pressures and a corresponding subset of the measured barometric pressures for the geographic locations. The device performs one or more actions based on the barometric pressure bias.

The device determines, based on a set of measured barometric pressures identified by the sensor data, a set of relative altitudes that identify altitudes of the group of UEs relative to one or more known geographic locations. • Patent number: 9210533
Abstract: A wireless base station schedules allocated resource blocks from an OFDM resource block structure to a UEs and holds unallocated resource blocks from the OFDM resource block structure for machines. The base station decodes wireless OFDM signals based on the OFDM resource block structure to obtain user data from the UEs using the allocated resource blocks and to obtain machine data from the machine devices using the unallocated resource blocks. The base station processes the machine data from the unallocated resource blocks to validate authorization marks in individual resource blocks. The base station transfers portions of the machine data having the valid authorization marks for delivery. The base station inhibits the transfer of machine data not having the valid authorization marks.

  • Patent number: 9172814
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating call continuity when transferring calls between mobile access networks to voice over internet protocol networks. The method includes recognizing availability of a voice over internet protocol network during a voice call established via a wireless access network. Thereafter, a data connection between a user device and the voice over internet protocol network is established. A transfer of the voice call from the wireless access network to the voice over internet protocol network is initiated by initiating a three-way call. Such a three-way call includes a first portion routed to a destination device via a public switch telephone network and a second portion routed to the user device via the voice over internet protocol network.

  • Patent number: 8855676
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for providing satellite assistance data to facilitate determination of the location of a mobile station, particularly for instance a mobile station served by a femtocell. When a positioning server receives a request for the location of a mobile station, the positioning server will determine from the request the mobile station is served by a femtocell and that the positioning server should query a femtocell server for seed data, or the positioning server may otherwise determine from the request that the positioning server should query the femtocell server for seed data. The seed data would preferably be geographic coordinates of a femtocell with which the mobile station is registered. The positioning server may then use that seed data to facilitate obtaining satellite assistance data from a base station almanac, and the positioning serve may provide the satellite assistance data to the mobile station to facilitate location determination.
