  • Patent number: 11981013
Abstract: A dust cover for a hammer work tool, a hammer work tool, and a method of attaching the same are disclosed. The hammer work tool includes a housing, a power cell enclosed inside the housing, a tool member, and a detachable dust cover. When attached, the dust cover prevents particulate matter from entering the housing. When detached, a housing opening uncovered by the dust cover provides access to the power cell for maintenance and repairs. During installation, a housing rim and a locking tab of the hammer work tool are respectively received by a groove and a locking tab receiver of the dust cover. Advantageously, the dust cover is durable, cost effective, and easily attached and detached without the use of additional tools.

  • Patent number: 8667406
Abstract: Methods and apparatus provide for an artboard generator that detects a selection to create a new artboard on a digital canvas. The artboard generator provides a transparent rendition of the new artboard on the digital canvas and performs a placement operation of the new artboard. Upon completion of the placement operation, the artboard generator converts the transparent rendition of the new artboard to an opaque rendition of the new artboard. The artboard generator detects a selection to create a second new artboard. The artboard generator defines characteristics of the second new artboard in accordance with characteristics of the resized new artboard. The artboard generator provides a transparent rendition of the second new artboard and performs a placement operation of the second new artboard. Upon completion of the placement operation, the artboard generator converts the second new artboard from a transparent rendition to an opaque rendition.

  • Patent number: 8239807
Abstract: A method for generating a standard cell layout pattern for standard cell placement in an integrated circuit uses a congestion map. First, congestion zones are identified in a congestion map generated by an Electronic Design Automation (EDA) application. Next, routing tracks data corresponding to bounding boxes belonging to the congestion zones are used to calculate values of average vertical and horizontal congestion. Subsequently, a value of modified standard cell density is calculated based on the values of average vertical and horizontal congestion, and an unmodified standard cell density. The dimensions of a layout pattern unit are calculated using the value of the modified standard cell density and the width of standard cells. Various layout pattern units then are placed adjacent to one another to form a standard cell layout pattern.
