  • Patent number: 7854443
Abstract: A system for connecting supply lines between a tractive vehicle and a semi-trailer that can be coupled to the latter, a semi-trailer coupling and an automatic line coupling system comprising at least one connector jack being situated on the tractive vehicle and the semi-trailer having at least one supply circuit comprising a first supply console for connecting to the tractive vehicle and for receiving a plug-in element that is located on at least one supply line of the tractive vehicle and/or a plug that is configured to fit the connector jack. The aim of the invention is to provide a system for connecting supply lines for tractive vehicles, comprising an automatic line coupling system that permits the coupling of conventional semi-trailers. To achieve this, a second supply console is located on the tractive vehicle and is permanently connected to the connector jack of the line coupling system and the plug-in element can be selectively connected to the first or second supply console.

  • Patent number: 6955833
Abstract: A process for the production of a heat-treatable low emissivity coated glass that comprises the steps of depositing an underlayer onto a glass substrate and subsequently depositing a reflective metal layer by a vacuum deposition process, wherein the underlayer is deposited by a pyrolytic deposition process. Preferably an anti-reflection layer is deposited by a vacuum deposition process on to the coated glass after deposition of the reflective metal layer. The underlayer may comprise a silicon oxide, the reflective metal layer may comprise silver and the anti-reflection layer may comprise a metal oxide, especially tin oxide or zinc oxide. The coated glass preferably has an emissivity of below 0.2 after heat treatment in an oxidising atmosphere.

  • Patent number: 6048621
Abstract: A high performance solar control glass comprises a glass substrate with a coating comprising a heat absorbing layer and a low emissivity layer of a metal oxide. Preferred heat absorbing layers absorb preferentially at wavelengths above 700 nm, and may be, for example, of non-stoichiometric or doped tungsten oxide, or of cobalt oxide, chromium oxide, iron oxide or vanadiam oxide. Preferred low emissivity layers are of semi-conductor metal oxide, for example doped tin oxide or doped indium oxide. Because of the nature of the layers, the coatings may be of neutral color and be suitable for deposition on-line on the glass ribbon, during the glass production process, by pyrolytic methods for example chemical vapor deposition.

  • Patent number: 4345732
Abstract: A supporting bracket for guitars and other stringed instruments embodying at least a pair of generally L-shaped metal hanger rods encased in plastic with their ends covered by caps. The rods are attachable to the top and bottom walls of an amplifier by flat metal mounting plates having channels therein snugly and sleevably accommodating the rod shanks so that the latter are projectable at right angles to a side wall of the amplifier with the bent ends extending generally parallel thereto in opposing alignable relation and are frictionally slidably adjustable relative to the channeled mounting plates to enable the bent end of the lowermost rod or rods to receive and support the lower end of the guitar, and the corresponding bent end of the uppermost rod embracing the finger board portion thereof to securely erectly support the instrument on the amplifier accessible to a musician.

  • Patent number: 4176580
Abstract: A supporting bracket for guitars and other stringed instruments embodying a plate attachable to a wall surface and having a hanger member with spaced diverging arms extending at right angles thereto and projecting from the wall surface to receive a finger board portion therebetween to permit of an instrument being retained thereby and depending angularly therefrom so as to be spaced above the floor surface.
