  • Patent number: 11067055
Abstract: A system for capturing the energy of fluid currents, using axial turbines with one free end and the other end fastened to a mechanical element or electric generator, characterized in that the turbines include coil springs, helically twisted plates or crossbeams, complete helical turbines with their shafts or just their blades, which capture the energy of wind or water, with their shaft or fastened end actuating an electric generator or mechanical system. In all cases the blades around the rotation axis of the turbines have an inclination such that they generate a torque in the same direction and the turbines are automatically oriented by the water or air currents, like weather vanes.

  • Patent number: 9702254
Abstract: Lift propulsion and stabilizing system and procedure for vertical takeoff and landing aircraft that consists in applying simultaneously and combined as lifters during the initial portion of the climb and at the end of the descent of: a) some fans or electric turbines, EDF, and b) at least one rotor with external blades and/or rotary and/or c) the engine flow directed downwards and/or d) pressure air jets injected on leading edges control fins, and/or e) water jets and/or f) supplemented with aerodynamic lift produced during frontal advance of the aircraft, the stabilization is achieved by the gyroscopic stiffness of the rotor and two or more lifting fans oscillating fins and/or air jets located on two or stabilizers more peripheral points in a plane perpendicular to the vertical axis of the aircraft.

  • Publication number: 20170158299
Abstract: The invention relates to a system and method of sail propulsion for sailing vessels and tugboats, consisting of one or more rows of sails secured at their upper vertices or corners by means of the ends of masts, and cables or ropes located between the upper ends of the masts, or the ends of the radial arms of said masts, with masts provided in the bow and others in the stern. The sails are secured at their lower vertices or corners to rings fixed to the deck, to ropes or cables, the ends of which are attached to the deck, to small posts, to the lower region of the main masts, to the ends of radial arms fixed in the lower region of the masts, or to pulleys on which the cables are wound using motors. The rows of sails, aligned from bow to stern, include a mast at the end sails. Cables or ropes form the upper ends of the intermediate sails.

  • Publication number: 20140277897
Abstract: The system for automatic driving and for warning of areas of reduced speed for vehicles which consists of placing in the lower area of the vehicle a signal detector and sensor system using reflective encoded elements, strips or bands arranged on the road surface or underground in the same. The signals received when are transverse or inclined are applied to a microprocessor, or directly to a visual warning or to an audio annunciator. The microprocessor decodes and compares the signals obtained with the vehicle speed, calculating and providing audible and visual warning signals. Additionally the system can provide lateral displacement signals with reference to central longitudinal lines, bands or strips, lateral or close to said side area, captured by the sensors in the bottom of the vehicle, and/or place a video camera or a laser radar in the upper front of the vehicle, for an automatic guided of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20120234330
Abstract: System and method for the treatment of sleep apnea and snoring having a removable collar with a tubular sleeve inside made of foam rubber, which is applied around the neck and forces the head to remain upright or extended and the muscle tissues of the throat stay tight. The collar is divided into three main sections, the front in which the collar is adjusted so the band adopts a curved form with a height between 8 and 10 cm. and is placed between the mandible and sternal manubrium; the lateral sections where the band portion supports and stabilizes the front section and a rear section where the ends of the band join, the lateral sections of foam. The collar separates the chin and jaw of the sternal manubrium sternum on which it rests.
