An example method includes a system receiving, from a media streaming device, a request for a transient session token for initiating a transient session of a streaming service. The system can transmit, to the media streaming device, an authentication request for authenticating a user account that is associated with the streaming service. The authentication request can be transmitted based at least in part on the receipt of the request for the transient session token. The system can receive, from the media streaming device, an authentication response based at least in part on transmitting the authentication request. The system can authenticate that the user account is associated with the streaming service based at least in part on receiving the authentication response. The system can transmit the transient session token to the media streaming device.

Abstract: An approach is described for a wireless device comprising a transceiver and a processor communicatively coupled to the transceiver. In a thread-based mesh network, a transmitting device occasionally transmits various multicast messages to the network for the purpose of maintaining the network. Of these messages, the mesh link establishment (MLE) advertisement message is particularly important as it notifies neighbor routers as to the presence and function of the transmitting device. Therefore, the transmitting device of the present disclosure transmits its MLE advertisement message to the network multiple times within a given time window. Additionally, the message is transmitted each time with a same identifier. A recipient device stores the identifier of each most recent MLE advertisement message. The identifier of each subsequently received MLE advertisement is compared to the stored identifier. This allows the recipient device to determine whether the message has been previously received.

The mobile device can be configured to connect to the one or more accessory devices.

Abstract: An ionic liquid as a solvent in the hydration reaction of ?-pinene to ?-terpineol. The ionic liquid is obtained from the reaction of an amine and an inorganic acid. The use of the ionic liquid as solvent favors the selectivity towards the formation of ?-terpineol and once the reaction product has been brought to room temperature, the organic phase can be physically separated from the inorganic one by decantation. The inorganic phase contains the ionic liquid, water and reaction catalyst and can be directly reused for a new reaction batch.

Abstract: Presented here are systems and methods to enable a user to remotely control the assistant device even when the user is not at home. The remote communication is established by creating a tunnel between the assistant device, the remote device and a cloud computer. The cloud computer provides the remote device with the same user interface that the assistant device displays. In turn, the remote device, via the cloud computer, provides commands to the assistant device. The user interface is adaptable, and once designed, is automatically adjusted to fit various display sizes of the assistant device and the remote device.

The described solution includes a curated scene or set of actions initiated by an assistant device.
