  • Patent number: 9851123
Abstract: A flap device for an internal combustion engine or an electric vehicle includes a flap body comprising a receiving opening, a duct housing configured to rotate arranged in the flap body, an actuator, a first bearing, a stub shaft arranged to project from the actuator through the duct housing to the flap body, a slide bearing arranged in the receiving opening of the flap body, and an axial pin arranged so as to be fixed in the duct housing on a side of the flap body opposite to the stub shaft. The stub shaft is supported in the duct housing via the first bearing. The axial pin supports the flap body via the slide bearing and projects into the receiving opening.

  • Patent number: 8187106
Abstract: A coupling device for transmitting a torque from a first shaft to a second shaft. The coupling device includes the first shaft with a first end section having radially opposite, radially extending projections and/or recesses. The second shaft has a second end section with radially opposite, radially extending projections and/or recesses. The first shaft is axially opposite the second shaft. The coupling device includes a coupling member having coupling projections and/or recesses, wherein the projections and/or recesses of the first and second end sections are respectively configured to engage with at least one of the coupling projections and/or recesses. The coupling projections and/or recesses corresponding to the first end section are arranged at a displacement of about 90° relative to the coupling projections and/or recesses corresponding to the second end section and the coupling member at least partially surrounds the first and second end sections.

  • Patent number: 7316216
Abstract: The invention relates to a throttle valve adjusting device (1) which comprises a throttle valve housing (2) linked with a drive unit (6). According to the invention, the electric motor (7) of said drive unit (6) is disposed both outside the housing (9) of the drive unit (6) and outside the throttle valve housing (2) so that its pole tube (16) lies substantially exposed and at the same time serves as the motor casing. Said pole tube (16) has a closed (18) and an open end (17) which is closed by a contact plate (10), while the closed end (18) comprises a bearing element (19) for the drive shaft (14) of the electric motor (7). The inventive throttle valve housing is improved in terms of construction space required and materials used, thereby considerably reducing the costs for production and assembly as well as reducing its weight.
