  • Publication number: 20080267759
Abstract: An order picking system includes a robot and pallet support shuttle which i) loads an empty pallet from an empty pallet distribution system, ii) carries the empty pallets adjacent a selected one of a plurality of SKU pallet stations including selected products; iii) charges one or a plurality of the selected products from the selected one of the SKU pallet stations on the one of the empty pallets, iv) repeats steps ii) and iii) until a mixed pallet is completed according to an order; and iv) unloads the mixed pallet onto a mixed pallet receiver to be picked up. The shuttle includes a robot and a pallet-receiving area both moving in unison on a rail. This minimizes robot traveling since the mixed pallet always travels with the robot. The order picking system is enclosed with safety fencing having limited pick and drop areas.

  • Patent number: 7388601
Abstract: A method and a system for automatically performing diagnostics of various operational parameters of digital video recorders, cameras, peripheral and associated components encompassing a video system, are provided. Script files are provided including diagnostic instructions, which are executed according to a schedule. The diagnostics for example include catalogue size verification, live working check for each camera, camera analysis of the image brightness and camera movement verification. Automated repair of the cameras is also possible. Preferably, the instructions are executed through an interface remotely interacting with the user control software of the cameras.

  • Publication number: 20070280814
Abstract: A method and system to build mixed pallet layers from full pallet layers comprises a palletizing/de-palletizing system, a feeding system for feeding the full pallet layers to the palletizing/de-palletizing system; and a mixed pallet output system for receiving the mixed pallet layers from the palletizing/de-palletizing system. The palletizing/de-palletizing system includes a ball table to receive and support the full pallet layers of products and to support the mixed pallet layers; a plurality of product accumulating rows located adjacent the ball table for receiving and accumulating identical products from the full pallet layers and a robot, provided with a tool, to pick products from one of the full pallet layers on the table, to store the products in a selected one of the accumulating rows, and to form a mixed pallet layer on the table by picking selected products in the accumulating rows and by positioning the selected products according to a mixed layer pattern.

  • Publication number: 20030103138
Abstract: A video security and control system for recording images in an area to be monitored where the area includes at least one entry point. The system includes at least one camera and a plurality of sensors, at least one of the sensors being located at the entry point. The system also includes a control and capture unit operatively connected to each of the cameras and sensors, the unit including at least one preset and an image capture device. When the sensors are triggered, the sensors send a signal to the control and capture unit which queue the signals. The control and capture unit sends a signal to each of the cameras to execute the preset in the order queued in order to capture an image taken by the camera at each of said preset. The present invention provides for a more efficient use of video storage and minimizes the hardware requirements in order to monitor an area.
