  • Patent number: 10767672
Abstract: The jack-type lifting system includes a valve for modifying a maximum force value of a lifting jack activated by a protrusion for determining a determined portion such as the beginning of the extension stroke of the lifting jack. Thanks to the modification of the maximum force value, a pressure source thus applies the full force of the lifting jack after a start-up stroke so as to protect a lock of a reverser cowl which has been forgotten during maintenance.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 28, 2015
Date of Patent: September 8, 2020
    Assignee: Safran Nacelles

  • Publication number: 20150136752
Abstract: An electrical heating assembly is provided for a defrosting device of an air-intake lip of a turbojet engine nacelle. The electrical heating assembly includes a current-conductive portion and a resistive portion, and the resistive portion includes strips spaced apart one another. Each strip is connected to the current-conductive portion so as to form at least one recess in the resistive portion.

  • Patent number: 9027884
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for making a nacelle element (2) that includes the steps of: (A) forming an array of heating resistors on a substrate using a photolithographic method; (B) applying a web (50, 52) of composite materials onto the array obtained in step (A); (C) applying an inner skin (12) onto the de-icing assembly (13) thus obtained. The invention also relates to a nacelle including such an element (2).

  • Patent number: 8959768
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for making a deicing system on a panel (22) of a nacelle comprising an outer skin (24) having at least one hole and an inner skin (26), characterized in that it comprises the following steps: A. a grid of resistive elements is positioned on the outer skin (24) with respect to the hole(s) by a positioning means; B. the grid of resistive elements is applied by an application means to the location determined in step A to form the deicing system; C. a surface coating is applied to the resulting deicing system. The present invention also relates to an air inlet lip and to a nacelle comprising a deicing system produced by such method.

  • Publication number: 20110303298
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for closing a mobile element (1) actuated by at least one actuator (2) such as a cylinder equipped with a terminal backlash device (4), said cover also being associated with at least one locking means, the closing method comprising the following steps which aim:—by means of the cylinder, to drive the mobile cover to close on a portion of the travel thereof, until said cover reaches the proximity of an area with closing forces, the distance remaining to be travelled being less than the available backlash of the cylinder;—by means of the locking means, to complete the travel of the mobile cover until said cover closes, the cylinder being located in the backlash area thereof.
