  • Patent number: 11538257
Abstract: A method of detecting occupants in a vehicle includes detecting an oncoming vehicle and acquiring a plurality of images of occupants in the vehicle in response to detection of the vehicle. The method includes performing automated facial detection on the plurality of images and adding a facial image for each face detected to a gallery of facial images for the occupants of the vehicle. The method includes performing automated facial recognition on the gallery of facial images to group the facial images into groups based on which occupant is in the respective facial images, and counting the final group of unique facial images to determine how many occupants are in the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11144184
Abstract: A user of a graphical visualization program controls what data is selectable through the program interface. Data for display may be grouped and assigned an opacity value. The opacity value may correspond to the number of data points within an n-dimensional grouping, a particular type or other grouping parameter. Two or more data groupings may overlap within the interface. The visualization program may set a threshold selectability level, for example based on user input. The input may be received based on an selection threshold slide bar within a graphical portion of the display. When a user selects a data grouping at a point where two or more data groupings overlap, the data groupings that satisfy the threshold selection level may be selected. Data groupings that do not satisfy the threshold selection level will not be selectable.

  • Patent number: 11032243
Abstract: An API call filtering system filters responses to API call requests received, via a network, from UEs. The API call filtering system is configured to require personalized API call requests wherein each API call (except for some minor exceptions) includes a unique UE identifier (“UEIN”) of the UE making the request. Using the UEIN, the web service or other service protected by the API call filtering system can be secured against excessive request iterations from a set of rogue UEs while allowing for ordinary volumes of requests of requests the UEs, wherein one or more boundaries between what is deemed to be an ordinary volume of requests and what is deemed to be excessive request iterations are determined by predetermined criteria.

  • Patent number: 10657360
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods provide for improved facial detection and facial recognition in vehicle interior inspections. In various embodiments, one or more high-resolution cameras having one or more lens and filter attachments operate in conjunction with one or more auxiliary illumination devices and a related computer system. According to various embodiments, an auxiliary illumination device can be synchronized to one or more cameras, and configured to supply auxiliary illumination to facilitate capture of accurate and usable images. The filter(s) and advanced image processing solutions assist with facial detection and identifying individuals inside a vehicle, removing light glare and undesired reflections from a window surface, and capturing an image through a tinted window, among other things. Further, embodiments can compare a captured image to an authenticated image from a database, in order to confirm the identity of a vehicle occupant.
