Abstract: A kickboard training device is provided. The kickboard may include an upper surface, a lower surface, and front, rear, left, and right edges bounding the upper and lower surfaces. The kickboard may include opposing wing portions positioned across a longitudinal centerline extending between the front and rear edges. The kickboard may include one or more surface elements associated with at least one of the upper and lower surfaces. The one or more surface elements may be arranged to define a flotation characteristic of the kickboard. The one or more surface elements may include at least one of a channel defined in at least the upper surface, a plurality of grooves defined in at least the lower surface, and one or more ailerons coupled to the kickboard.

Abstract: A bicycle disassembly and shipping apparatus for compactly and securely shipping a bicycle. The bicycle disassembly and shipping apparatus comprises a pair of fork support fixtures to which the front and rear forks of the bicycle frame are attached; fastening straps by which the handlebar, seat and pedals are attached to the frame; a top support fixture which in conjunction with the fork support fixtures provides for the clamping of the bicycle wheels to the frame and to the top support fixture; and a container into which the disassembled bicycle and fixtures are encased for purposes of transport. An automobile roof attachment system comprising a plurality of straps having strap end fixtures for attaching the bicycle packaging fixture assembly to the roof of an automobile is provided.

Abstract: A swim training paddle for attachment to the hand of a swimmer includes a main body member having an arcuate shape defining a convex upper surface and a concave lower surface, as well as having a finger securing loop attached to said upper surface to secure the paddle to the hand of a swimmer adjacent to the upper surface. The main body of the paddle defines an airfoil shape along its length and width to encourage the use of a curvilinear stroke path when using the freestyle stroke.
