The passenger aircraft includes a passenger area with passenger seats and a permanently installed fire extinguishing medium tank for storing fire extinguishing medium such as water, as well as a fire extinguishing medium nozzle for discharging the fire extinguishing medium. The passenger aircraft may be a type from an aircraft series also including a long-haul aircraft having a center tank for range extension. In the passenger aircraft, a center tank may be used as an extinguishing medium tank.

Abstract: A honeycomb structure including a first external side, a second external side, and an anti-friction agent buffer for receiving an anti-friction agent. An opening to an anti-friction agent inlet and an opening to an air outlet are present on the first external side. This honeycomb structure may be useful in an aircraft as part of a belly-landing system for the aircraft.

Abstract: A method for temporarily closing openings in an aircraft part during a manufacturing process by providing a first part that has a first opening and positioning a temporary closure member inside that first opening. The temporary closure member has an RFID tag that has stored on it a unique identification. At a later stage in the aircraft manufacturing process, a scanning device is used to scan for the RFID tag based on the identification. The temporary closure member is removed from the first opening and subsequently replaced by a permanent member.

The pressure bulkhead includes a tank that is seated on at least one of the inner surface and the outer surface, and extends in the axial direction. The sensor devices are configured to capture objects in spatial areas predetermined by the relevant sensor devices and to transmit capture data representing the capture of objects to the control unit. The control unit is configured to receive and use the capture data to detect an object approaching a predefined monitoring area covered by the predetermined spatial areas of the sensor devices. The control unit is configured to transmit a control signal to the signal output device if an object is detected.
