    Abstract: Methods and apparatus for controlling a load with an electronic sensor are provided in accordance with the teachings of the present invention. Upon a detection of a condition to which a sensor is responsive and an initiation of a switching of a load, further switching of the load by the sensor is inhibited for predetermined intervals. The predetermined intervals are determined in relation to avoidance of switching conditions not aptly representative of actual conditions to be sensed, such as those imposed by the switching of the load.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus is shown for receiving optical rays with a maximum angle of sensitivity so that a single detector can monitor a wide, spherical angle.
