    Abstract: The invention relates to a facet for solar concentrators, suitable for its use as reflective element of a heliostat, the facet comprising a main body defining a front surface and a back surface. Advantageously, the back surface of the main body is attached to at least three substantially linear ribs, which are arranged substantially parallel along said back surface, and wherein at least one of the three ribs is configured with adjustable anchoring means adapted for their connection to the structure of a solar concentrator. Moreover, the anchoring means are adapted such that the distance between at least one of the three ribs and the structure of a solar concentrator can be varied. The invention also relates to a solar concentrator comprising said facet, and to a method of installation thereof.

    Abstract: The invention relates to an asymmetric solar receiver suitable for its installation in heliostat tower solar power plants, wherein said receiver is adapted to cover at least an angular region of around a tower, and wherein the effective surface density of the receiver for receiving radiation varies depending on its orientation over the covered angular region thereof. The effective surface of said receiver is preferably made of one or more panels and, more preferably, the receiver comprises at least two panels, wherein at least one of the panels comprises a smaller height than the other panels. The invention also relates to a solar tower comprising said receiver, a solar field comprising said tower, a solar power plant comprising said solar field, and a process for installing a solar field.

The main advantages of the invention include the reduction in the breaking of glass due to the lower stresses to fatigue, an increase in the effective collection surface (97%-99%) and active management of the vacuum, which makes it possible to monitor the evolution thereof at all times.
