    Abstract: This invention relates to a "biological" valve suitable for surgical treatment of cardiopathies, composed of a supporting ring having a diametrically-disposed element which functions as a support for the hinge of the two flaps which alternately allow and prevent flow through the device. It is designed in such a way that the angle formed by these flaps in the resting position conditions both the height of the prosthesis as well as the mechanical behavior of the aforementioned flaps.
