Patent number: 10946873Abstract: A distracted driving elimination system includes an image capture device within a passenger compartment of an automobile capturing images of a first hand and a second hand of a vehicle operator and a steering wheel. An analysis unit has a geometry and visual characteristics of multiple predetermined items saved in a memory. The analysis unit receives the images and compares the images to the predetermined items saved in the memory to identify if any one of the first hand or the second hand of the vehicle operator is not in direct contact with the steering and is in direct contact with one of the predetermined items thereby initiating a distracted driving event. A distracted driving signal is generated when the distracted driving event is initiated. An indication system generates an indication when the distracted driving signal is forwarded, the indication alerting the vehicle operator of the distracted driving event.Type: GrantFiled: June 20, 2019Date of Patent: March 16, 2021Assignee: GM GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONS LLCInventors: Zhiqiang Deng, Yusheng Zou, Jiang L. Patent number: 10640379Abstract: A process for the production of monochloramine characterized in that it provides for drawing a portion of water intended for the user and exclusively using the portion for preparing the monochloramine solution. The portion intended for the reaction of formation of monochloramine is subjected to a treatment on osmotic membrane, obtaining osmotized water. Subsequently, there is the reaction of the water with reagents in a reactor. In the reaction step, inside the reactor, the osmotized water enters from a first orifice (C) via a solenoid valve with micrometric regulation (EV1). Inside the same reactor, the base chemical products enter via the respective orifices A and B. The base chemical products enter due to the action of metering pumps (e.g. peristaltic pumps). The system is managed by PLC.Type: GrantFiled: November 13, 2018Date of Patent: May 5, 2020Assignee: ACEL S.R.L.Inventors: Marco Gatti, Daniele Alessandro Cauzzi

Patent number: 4791242Abstract: Line for transmitting electric energy, with bundle conductors enclosing into the bundle a metal or dielectric cable incorporating optic fibers for telecommuniation. The cable, in correspondence of each spacer of the bundle, is supported in a position placed on the vertical led through the barycenter of the bundle and at a distance from said barycenter included in a range of .+-.35% of the diameter of the bundle (i.e. the diameter of the circumference defined by the barycenters of the subconductors; + for positions above the barycenter, --for positions below the barycenter). The spacers are set at a mutual distance included between 30 m and 85 m. The optic fibres cable is clamped onto each spacer either by means of bolt clamps forming part of said spacer, or by means of helical armor rods wound around the optic fibres cable and around a cable positioning clamp fixedly connected to said spacer.Type: GrantFiled: December 14, 1987Date of Patent: December 13, 1988Assignee: Ente Nazionale Per L'Energia ElecttricaInventor: Marco Gatti
