  • Publication number: 20230309667
Abstract: A pole handle for a ski pole or trekking pole, having a head region and a handle region , and an axial orifice which is open downwardly on one side to receive a pole tube, wherein the pole handle has a core with a left-hand side wall and a right-hand side wall, at least in certain regions, wherein the two side walls are connected at the top by a top surface so that the walls and the surface enclose a cavity, and the left-hand side wall and the right-hand side wall laterally delimit the cavity, and wherein the two side walls each have at least one aperture in a direction transverse to the pole handle longitudinal axis (S) and transverse to the direction of travel with a determined area.

  • Publication number: 20230128362
Abstract: A folding pole (1) having four or five tubular portions (7-9), wherein, in assembled state, the tubular portions (7-9) are connected to one another by plug-in connections and oriented along the pole axis (32), and, when the pole is folded up, at least two or three tubular portions (8, 8?, 9) are connected only by a movable connecting element (16). The folding pole is characterized in that a conical closure plug (18) having an axial through-opening (64) is releasably inserted, preferably screwed, into the plug region (49, 17?) of the plug-in connections, and closes off the latter with respect to the following tubular portion, and wherein each of these conical closure plugs (18) has an axial slit (63) through which the pull cable (16) can be introduced into the through-opening (64) in the radial direction.

  • Patent number: 10492578
Abstract: The invention relates to a pole handle (1), in particular for trekking poles, Nordic walking poles, Alpine ski poles, or cross-country ski poles, comprising a handle head (2), a handle body (3), and a hook-like device (4) for securing a handling device. A movable, pivotal, or rotatable latching means (5) is arranged in the region of the hook-like device such that a loop-, ring-, or eye-shaped device, which is provided on the handling device and inserted into the hook-like device substantially from above, is fixed in the hook-like device in a self-latching manner. The latching means is designed in the form of a retaining lug which defines a constrained region (7) for the loop-, ring-, or eye-shaped device towards the bottom in the braced position. Additionally, a recess (8) is provided in the handle head and/or handle body from above, wherein a movably and/or rotatably mounted securing block (9) on or in which the engaging means is arranged is arranged in the recess.

  • Publication number: 20130146110
Abstract: The invention relates to a damping device (1) for a pole, in particular a trekking, ski, hiking, or Nordic walking pole, having an attaching sleeve (4) by means of which the damping device (1) is attached to a first tube segment (11, 44) by inserting and attaching therein, and having an attaching element (3) by means of which the damping device (1) is attached to a pole handle (5) or a second tube segment (43) having a larger inner diameter than the first tube segment (11, 44).

  • Patent number: 8194308
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and to an arrangement for the frequency conversion of coherent optical radiation with adjustable wavelength by way of a two-stage non-linear optical process. In the method and the arrangement, a frequency doubling is carried out in a first non-linear optical crystal (301, 302) and a sum frequency generation or a frequency doubling is carried out in a second non-linear optical crystal (401, 402) which is connected downstream. A positively birefringent crystal, in which the frequency doubling is carried out during a phase matching of type I from the extraordinary wave of the output frequency according to the <eeo> scheme, is used as the first non-linear optical crystal (301, 302). The second non-linear optical crystal (401, 402) is chosen such that phase matching is made possible by rotating the crystal in the same spatial plane in which the first crystal (301, 302) must also be rotated during a phase matching.
