  • Patent number: 11840308
Abstract: A system for controlling tilting of two wheels of a vehicle, mechanically anchored to the chassis by a first and a second oscillating anchor arm is provided. The system has a first cylinder and a second cylinder suitable for being interposed between the chassis and the first and second oscillating anchor arms respectively. The first and second cylinders have respectively a first chamber and a second chamber with variable volume and containing a working fluid. Transfer of working fluid from the first to the second chamber results in an increase in the volume of the second chamber. Transfer of working fluid from the second to the first chamber results in an increase in the volume of the first chamber. A pipe connects the first and second chambers so that working fluid is alternately transferable from the first to the second chamber and from the second to the first chamber.

  • Publication number: 20200124116
Abstract: A clutch comprises a bell alternatively engaged and disengaged by a rotating transmission component, wherein mutual engagement of the bell and the rotating transmission component by first engagement elements results in the bell being dragged in rotation by the transmission component in a first rotation direction, wherein the bell defines an engagement profile formed so as to be alternatively engaged and disengaged by second engagement elements dragged in rotation by the transmission component, and wherein mutual engagement of the second engagement elements and the engagement profile is a result of both the rotation of the transmission component in a second rotation direction, opposite to the first rotation direction, and the rotation of the bell in the first rotation direction.

  • Patent number: 10384739
Abstract: The present invention relates to an improved control system of the trim of motorcycles with more than two wheels. More in particular, it relates to motorcycles which have at least three wheels and can lean sideways by virtue of the presence of a so-called wheel tilting system. The present invention improves on prior art HTS hydro-pneumatic systems, to improve the vehicle trim, particularly while cornering with the leaned vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20190077210
Abstract: The present invention relates to an improved suspension (20), in particular for traditional two-wheel motorcycles and/or for motorcycles or vehicles with three or more wheels with at least two tilting wheels. The improved suspension (20) according to the present invention is capable of providing adequately progressive performance without simultaneous problems of excessive gradual engagement, which affect the currently known suspensions comprising gas shock absorbers. Such a result is possible by using an accumulator (70) having a variable volume operatively connected to the first accumulator (60) which is part of the traditional suspension.
