  • Publication number: 20100154174
Abstract: The carriage provided for a separation device comprises a carriage body serving to hold a separation element, which carriage body comprises at least one running wheel, which can be moved on a rail, and a drive device made up of an electric motor and a gearing, which drive device is coupled to a first drive element, by means of which a force can be transferred to the rail and the carriage can be driven. According to the invention the drive device is coupled to at least one second drive element, by means of which the separation element held so as to be rotatable can be driven. Using the inventive carriage, separation elements which are separate or connected to each other in a jointed way can be advantageously displaced and/or rotated.

  • Patent number: 7637177
Abstract: The apparatus for driving a divider element which is slidable linearly and/or in curves, comprising a drive assembly guided by two running wheels on a running surface of a rail, the drive assembly having a drive shaft driven by an electric motor and a gearing, the drive shaft being coupled by a toothed gear to a toothed belt connected to the rail, and the drive assembly being connectable by a load shaft to the divider element. The drive assembly having a traveling assembly unit with a traveling assembly body having a head piece detachably connected to a drive unit, wherein the electric motor, and the gearing are arranged such that the drive shaft emerges vertically upward from the drive assembly so as to enable the toothed gear mounted on the drive shaft to engage the toothed belt retained above the running surface of the rail.

  • Patent number: 7504788
Abstract: The device has at least one controllable divider element including a drive assembly guided within a track, the drive assembly being driven by an electric motor which is controllable by a central control unit and a local control unit, which units exchange data through an electric line located in the track and functioning as the power supply for the electric motor. According to the invention, a first direct voltage is provided in the central control unit, the voltage being connectable to the power supply line through a central switch which is actuated as a function of the data to be transmitted between the central and local control units, whereby, when the switch is opened, data are able to be transmitted from the local control unit to the central control unit. In addition, an especially advantageous initialization of the device is possible based on the method according to the invention.
