  • Patent number: 11982600
Abstract: A trap for horizontal flow marine sediment, useful for collecting and sampling marine sediments where horizontal currents are intense and turbulent; the trap is comprising a first inlet opening and a second outlet opening, configured to allow the inlet and the outlet of a marine current, the path between the two openings comprising: an inlet area with a divergent section, connected to the first inlet opening; a sedimentation area with a greater section with respect to the inlet area, in order to allow gravity separation of particles present in the marine current. The trap also has an outlet area whose section converges in terms of width between the section where the outlet area is connected to the sedimentation area and to the second outlet opening.

  • Publication number: 20220120644
Abstract: A trap for marine sediments, comprising on two vertical sides, opposite to each other, a first inlet opening and a second outlet opening, configured to allow the inlet and the outlet of the marine current, the trap comprising between said two openings an inlet area, whose section diverges in terms of width between said inlet opening and the end section of the inlet area; a sedimentation area having a section greater than the end section of the inlet area, configured to allow the separation by gravity of the particles present in the marine current, and an outlet area whose section converges in terms of width between the section where the outlet area is connected to the sedimentation area and the second outlet opening having the section of the inlet area converges in terms of height between the inlet opening and its own end section.

  • Patent number: 7686717
Abstract: A tensioner for a traction drive includes a cylinder arranged in a housing at a distance to a housing wall to thereby define an interior space which contains hydraulic fluid. A piston is received in the cylinder for back-and-forth movement and bounds a pressure chamber containing hydraulic fluid. The piston has a cylinder-distal end which is operatively connected to a spring-biased tension roller supported on a traction member. Formed between the piston and the cylinder is a leakage gap, and a reservoir for hydraulic fluid is provided in an area of the leakage gap to prevent ingress of air into the pressure chamber, when the traction drive is at a rest.

  • Patent number: 6039267
Abstract: A duct made of flexible material, comprising a plurality of spaced dispensers and regulator valves. Each dispenser is provided with two ports, one for ground dispensing and the other one for over-the-crop dispensing; the ports are controlled by respective differential membrane valves. The ports are supplied by separate system sections, one at low pressure and the other one at high pressure, which comprise respective pipes which are supplied by corresponding motorized pump units at low and high pressure respectively; the pipes are joined in a single duct with side-by-side passages provided with a cross-section shaped substantially like a figure-of-eight.

  • Patent number: 6021602
Abstract: A modular structure for aeroponic cultivations comprising a plurality of prefabricated side panels which are meant to receive plants being cultivated and a plurality of prefabricated flat bases to which the side panels are joined by means of respective interlock couplings in order to form a structure which is substantially shaped like an inverted V and in which the side panels are mutually connected along an upper ridge line by respective ridgecaps; a pumping unit and a spraying apparatus are also provided in order to feed an atomized nutrient solution inside the structure.
