  • Patent number: 11634112
Abstract: A hydraulic arrangement for connecting a tractor hydraulic brake circuit to a trailer hydraulic brake circuit is disclosed. The hydraulic arrangement includes a coupler stage fluidly connecting a source of fluid in pressure to the trailer braking hydraulic circuit and a trailer brake valve fluidly connecting the tractor hydraulic brake circuit and the trailer hydraulic brake circuit. The hydraulic arrangement further includes a selection pilot stage fluidly connected to the source of fluid in pressure and being fluidly connectable to the trailer hydraulic brake circuit via at least a connector and a selection stage fluidly connected to the selection pilot stage and to the trailer brake valve. The selection stage being configured to impart an actuation signal to the trailer brake valve in function of an hydraulic signal coming from the selection pilot stage.

  • Patent number: 11155165
Abstract: A power-takeoff (PTO) unit for a work vehicle includes a planetary gear driven by an engine of the work vehicle; a PTO spline connected in power transmission to the planetary gear and defining a gear ratio; a hydrostatic transmission driven by the planetary gear to control the gear ratio; a pressure sensor unit for sensing a differential pressure across a loop of the hydrostatic transmission; and a control unit. The control unit is configured to calculate a differential pressure in the loop from a calibration mathematical model representing an unloaded functioning of the PTO spline. The control unit is also configured to calculate a PTO spline torque from a further mathematical model. The model is based on the pressure drop, on pressure signals from the sensor unit, and on kinematic or hydraulic factors of the planetary gear and the hydrostatic transmission.

  • Patent number: 10280595
Abstract: A compact wheel loader having a hydrostatic transmission and two modes of operation. In a normal mode, a demand lever is used to set the engine speed, and displacement of the swash plate of the hydraulic pump of the transmission is set by a hydraulic pilot pressure (Ps) that increases with engine speed, so that the transmission ratio automatically decreases as the engine speed increased. In a creeper mode, the engine is set to operate at a high speed to meet the demand of powered implements of the loader, and the wheel speed is controlled by the demand lever setting the transmission ratio by varying the hydraulic pilot pressure (Ps).

  • Patent number: 10214875
Abstract: A working machine including a movable implement, a hydraulic actuator for displacing the implement, and a hydraulic control system for enabling an operator to control movement of the implement. The control system allows the implement to be returned to a desired position or state, such as a return to dig position or a return to float state, in a single automated operation that is initiated by the operator actuating a switch at the same time as moving a joystick in a desired direction. A pilot-operated valve is used to supply hydraulic fluid under pressure to the actuator acting on the implement and the operation of the joystick is detected by means of a pressure sensor connected to a control line of the pilot-operated valve.

  • Publication number: 20180304877
Abstract: A dual-purpose valve for a braking system includes a two-position hydraulic brake control valve coupled to a moveable valve member, a brake control chamber for holding fluid, a brake port for connecting to a brake cylinder, and a tank port for connecting to a fluid tank. Movement of the moveable valve member in a first direction towards a brake deactivation position from a neutral position maintains the hydraulic brake control valve in a closed state causes pressurised fluid flow from the brake control chamber to the brake port and thereby disengaging the braking system. Movement of the moveable valve member in a second direction towards a brake activation position from the neutral position alters the hydraulic brake control valve from a closed state to an open state, and permits pressurised fluid flow from the brake port to the tank port through the dual-purpose valve and thereby engaging the braking system.
