  • Publication number: 20150109712
Abstract: An adapter configured to connect a switch device to a data bus, wherein the switch device has a box-like body which houses a switching unit for switching an electric circuit, wherein the adapter includes a case having a first opening and a second opening and an electronic control unit housed in the case and having a first connection element adapted to be connected to the switching unit through the first opening and second connection element adapted to be connected to the data bus through the second opening to convert the electric signals generated by the switching unit into data signals and vice versa.

  • Publication number: 20150029033
Abstract: An electronic hinged safety switch adapted for installation on protection barriers (B) of machines and/or automatic plants having one or more electric safety circuits (S). The switch comprises a substantially box-like fixed member (2) designed to be secured to a stationary part (M) of a protection barrier (B) and a movable member (3) designed to be secured to a pivotal part (P) of the protection barrier (B) and coupled to the fixed member (2) through hinge means (4). Sensing means (5) are housed in said box-like fixed member (2) for interacting with the hinge means (4) to send an electric control signal (SC) to one or more electric safety circuits (S) at a predetermined switching angle (?). The sensing means (5) comprise at least one sensor for generating a corresponding actuation signal (SA) at the switching angle (?), and an electronic control unit (8) operatively connected to at least one sensor (6).

  • Publication number: 20150022027
Abstract: A multi-signaling hinged safety switch for mobile protection barriers includes a fixed member designed to be secured to a stationary part of the barrier and having a pair of axial end holes, a movable member designed to be secured to a pivotal part of the barrier and having a pair of substantially transverse arms located outside the fixed member and pivoted to the axial end holes, an electrical detection system within the fixed member switching one or more electric safety circuits of the barrier at a predetermined switching angle. A pair of cylindrical pins extend in cantilever fashion from the arms and are pivotally inserted in the holes, with mutually spaced opposed ends defining a gap with no axial connection member therein. The detection system includes a pair of detectors each interacting with one end of a pin and having a switching angle that are operatively independent of each other.

  • Publication number: 20140375418
Abstract: A protection assembly with an operating knob (1) for an electrical potentiometer comprises a substantially tubular housing (2) defining a longitudinal axis (L), an electrical adjustment device (3) held within the housing (2) and having an adjustment shaft (4) rotating about the longitudinal axis (L) and an internal variable resistor interacting with a longitudinal end (5) of the shaft (4), an operating knob (6) attached to the other end (7) of the shaft (4), limit stop means (8) for restricting the rotation of the shaft (4) within a predetermined maximum angle of rotation (a). The knob (6) comprises an annular anchoring member (9), which is designed to be removably coupled to the housing (2) and an operating member (10) coupled to the shaft (4) and rotating relative to the anchoring member (9). The anchoring member (9) and the operating member (10) have mutually facing cylindrical surfaces (11, 12), with said limit stop means (8) interposed therebetween to limit the infiltration of external impurities.
