  • Publication number: 20240174061
Abstract: An open-roof assembly for a vehicle roof comprises a moveably arranged closure member having a drive assembly and a control unit with a pinch detection unit. The pinch detection unit comprises a first pinch detection system, a second pinch detection system and a predetermined reference. Each of the first and second pinch detection systems comprises a tracker module configured to compare the movement of the closure member and the reference, the tracker module allowing a tolerance between movement and reference; a deviation module configured to determine a deviation, if the tolerance is exceeded; and pinch determination module configured to determine that a pinch occurs, if the deviation in movement exceeds a threshold. The tolerance of the first pinch detection system is smaller than the tolerance of the second pinch detection system. The threshold of the first pinch detection system is higher that the threshold of the second pinch detection system.

  • Publication number: 20240155756
Abstract: To commission a plurality of nodes (200) to a network (100), a proximity-based commissioning has certain benefits. However, to get a proper proximity estimation in an area with a large number of nodes (200) deployed in a dense network may not be an easy task. To address this problem, nodes (200) to be commissioned are configured to spend most of its time on detecting beacons from a commissioning device (300) to derive proximity information in a one-to-many topology. And then the node (200) is further configured to feedback the proximity information to the commissioning device (300) at an adaptive beacon rate to further assist the commissioning device (300) to implement the proximity-based commissioning.

  • Publication number: 20240102316
Abstract: An exemplary ring lock generally includes a housing, a shackle, a lock cylinder, and a first frangible component. The shackle is movable relative to the housing between an open position and a closed position. The lock cylinder is operable to maintain the shackle in the closed position, and is selectively operable to permit movement of the shackle from the closed position to the open position. The first frangible component is configured to break in response to application of a first threshold torque to the lock cylinder. With the first frangible component broken, the lock cylinder is prevented from permitting movement of the shackle from the closed position to the open position.
