  • Publication number: 20240172282
Abstract: A node for a radio communication network with dynamic reservation of transmission capacity is provided. Said node comprises a communication unit for communicating with at least one neighboring node, and at least one antenna coupled to said communication unit. In this context, the communication unit is configured to reserve transmission capacity on the basis of at least one RTS and/or CTS and/or nCTS handshake packet. In addition to this, the communication unit is further configured to limit transmission capacity reservation to a certain number of the at least one neighboring node on the basis of certain properties with respect to said certain number of the at least one neighboring node.

  • Patent number: 11990281
Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrode unit (10, 20) for an electric vacuum capacitor comprising a band-shaped capacitor plate (11, 21) with a height H, wherein the band-shaped capacitor plate (11, 21) is wound in a spiral with a maximum diameter Dmax and a constant distance between successive turns, wherein the band-shaped capacitor plate (11, 21) comprises a first longitudinal edge (11a, 21a) attached to a supporting part (12) and a second longitudinal edge (11b, 21b), the second longitudinal edge (11b, 21b) being free, wherein at the outer extremity of the spiral, the first longitudinal edge (11a, 21a) and the second longitudinal edge (11b, 21b) are connected by an inclined edge (11c, 21c) such that the first longitudinal edge (11a, 21a) is longer than the second longitudinal edge (11b, 21b), wherein the inclined edge (11c, 21c) forms with the longitudinal axis (B) of the band-shaped capacitor plate (11, 21) an angle ? less than or equal to an angle ?max=(45°·?/180°).

  • Publication number: 20240145827
Abstract: Systems and methods of the various embodiments may provide a battery including a rolling diaphragm configured to move to accommodate an internal volume change of one or more components of the battery. Systems and methods of the various embodiments may provide a battery housing including a rolling diaphragm seal disposed between an interior volume of the battery and an electrode assembly within the battery. Various embodiments may provide an air electrode assembly including an air electrode supported on a buoyant platform such that the air electrode is above a surface of a volume of electrolyte when the buoyant platform is floating in the electrolyte.

  • Patent number: 11973254
Abstract: An electrochemical cell and battery system including cells, each cell including a catholyte, an anolyte, and a separator disposed between the catholyte and anolyte and that is permeable to the at least one ionic species (for example, a metal cation or the hydroxide ion). The catholyte solution includes a ferricyanide, permanganate, manganate, sulfur, and/or polysulfide compound, and the anolyte includes a sulfide and/or polysulfide compound. These electrochemical couples may be embodied in various physical architectures, including static (non-flowing) architectures or in flow battery (flowing) architectures.

  • Publication number: 20230115313
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for determining a sharpness condition of a saw chain of a chain saw. The saw chain includes at least one cutting link having an upper cutting blade. An upper cutting blade image of the upper cutting blade of the cutting link is recorded using an imaging device. An evaluation of the upper cutting blade image is performed using an evaluation unit, which includes an artificial neural network. A sharp condition and a dull condition of the saw chain are defined in the evaluation unit. The saw chain is assigned on the basis of the upper cutting blade image using the artificial neural network to the sharp condition or the dull condition.
