Abstract: A modular flashlight assembly is provided that includes an integrated interface to facilitate mounting of the flashlight to a variety of different equipment. The flashlight mounting system includes a pattern of engagement surfaces on an exterior surface of the flashlight housing and a mounting bracket. The mounting bracket is configured to be mounted onto the desired substrate and includes clamping members that releasably engage the engagement surfaces on the flashlight housing. In this manner, the engagement surfaces on the flashlight housing provide a surface by which the flashlight can be clamped without the need for a band that extends entirely around the barrel of the flashlight. Further, by releasably clamping the flashlight into a modular system, the flashlight can easily mounted onto any variety of different modular interface systems such as the interface rail that is integrated onto modern type firearms.

Abstract: A wrist-mount blood pressure monitor includes a housing having an anterior leg and a posterior leg rigidly connected together. The anterior leg is opposed and spaced a distance from the posterior leg so that a wrist is allowed to fit in the space between the legs. An inflatable bladder is positioned within the anterior leg of the housing for pressurizing an artery within the wrist. At least one stiffening member can be enclosed within the housing for assuring limited transverse movement between the anterior and posterior legs during pressurization of bladder. A blood pressure monitoring unit is operablely connected to the bladder for sensing and calculating blood pressure. A display unit is also provided for displaying blood pressure measurement.

Abstract: A system for irrigating a surgical site is disclosed having a light weight battery powered pumping unit that is directly connectible to an irrigation source, and a handpiece that either irrigates the site with irrigation fluid from the pumping unit or aspirates spent irrigation liquid and biological debris from the site. The handpiece communicates with the site through an elongate wand that passes through an incision to the irrigation site. A spike extending upwardly from a pump head portion of the pumping unit detachably connects the pumping unit to the irrigation source.
