  • Patent number: 11677169
Abstract: An insulation displacement contact is for piercing through an insulation of a cable or wire in a cutting direction and electrically contacting an electrically conductive core of the cable or wire. The insulation displacement contact includes a contact body having a piercing section for piercing the insulation and a contact slot receiving the core of the cable or wire. The contact slot extends along the cutting direction from the piercing section into the contact body. The contact body has a pair of blades separated by the contact slot. The blades have a pair of attachment slots extending from the piercing section into the blades.

  • Patent number: 11539155
Abstract: A contact assembly for a connector housing includes an adapter element and a contact element. The adapter element has a sleeve with a lead-through opening extending in an axial direction of the sleeve and with a threaded bore extending perpendicularly to the lead-through opening through the sleeve. The contact element is adapted to be inserted into the lead-through opening and latched to the sleeve. The contact element may exhibit varying types of a cable connection section and/or a contact section. The adapter element is receivable within the connector housing and may accept the contact element regardless of the type of cable connection section and/or contact section.

  • Publication number: 20210296833
Abstract: A splitter for interconnecting a first connector with at least two second connectors includes a first electrically conductive layer that is connectable to the first connector and to at least one of the second connectors. The first layer has at least two electrically conductive terminals which protrude from the first layer. The electrically conductive terminals are arranged to provide electrical connection between a first contact of the first connector and an associated first contact of at least one of the second connectors.

  • Patent number: 8708735
Abstract: A shunt connector assembly for electrical systems comprises a body including a first, a second and a third coupling portion (6, 7, 8) for coupling to respective connectors. The contacts of the first and second coupling portions (6, 7) are defined by the opposite ends of a first group of metal pins of circular section (R1) received inside the body (2) of the connector assembly. The contacts of the third coupling portion (8) are defined by first ends of a second group of metal pins of circular section (R2) arranged parallel to and spaced from the pins of the first group. Each pin of the first group (R1) is electrically connected to a respective pin of the second group (R2) by a metal bridging element in the form of a planar lamina extending substantially in the plane containing the axes of the pins connected by said bridging element and integrally incorporating at each end a bent back-portion defining a resiliently deformable open bushing that surrounds and clasps a respective metal pin (R1, R2).
