  • Publication number: 20070056280
Abstract: A loading implement and method of operating a loading implement for the adjustment of a floating condition of a boom of the loading implement. The loading implement includes a hydraulic arrangement for the lifting and lowering of the boom, a hydraulic conveying device, a hydraulic fluid tank, a hydraulic cylinder, a control implement connected to hydraulic supply lines for the control of the hydraulic cylinder, a first and a second hydraulic line connecting the hydraulic cylinder with the fluid tank and equipped with a first and a second selector valve, a lifting side load holding valve and a control unit for switching of the selector valves. In order to permit the activation of a floating condition without the boom being lowered uncontrollably, a sensor signals the position of the boom or the hydraulic cylinder to the control unit, which is configured to cause lowering of the boom and/or the switching into the floating condition as a function of the signal delivered by the sensor.

  • Publication number: 20070059146
Abstract: A loading implement is provided with a hydraulic arrangement for the spring support of a boom. The hydraulic arrangement is provided with at least one hydraulic conveying device, a hydraulic fluid tank, a first hydraulic cylinder and a control implement for the lifting and lowering of the boom, as well as a controllable pressure limiting arrangement that is arranged and configured in such a way that excursion movements of the first hydraulic cylinder can be equalized. The equalization is performed by a control unit for the control of the pressure limiting arrangement. In order to correct the spring support performance of the hydraulic arrangement when a change in the loading of the hydraulic cylinder occurs, devices are provided with which a change in the loading condition of the boom can be detected as well as a signal reproducing the loading condition can be generated and that the signal reproducing the loading condition can be processed by the control unit.

  • Publication number: 20070033933
Abstract: A hydraulic arrangement is provided for a spring support system. The hydraulic circuit arrangement includes a hydraulic cylinder, a hydraulic tank, a hydraulic conveying device, a hydraulic accumulator, a first selector valve arranged between the hydraulic accumulator and the hydraulic cylinder, a control implement with at least three switch positions, that include a lifting position, a lowering position and a neutral position for the hydraulic cylinder and a pipe break safety arrangement arranged between the control implement and the hydraulic cylinder. In order to permit the opening of the pipe break safety arrangement, a first control pressure line extends between the pipe break safety arrangement and a conveying device and first switching devices are arranged in the first control pressure line so that a control pressure can be applied to the first control pressure line by switching the first switching devices and the pipe break safety arrangement can be controlled to open.

  • Publication number: 20070022750
Abstract: A hydraulic arrangement is provided for a tool locking device of a loader. The hydraulic arrangement comprises a hydraulic cylinder with first and second chambers, which cylinder has a first position for unlocking and a second position for locking, a first supply line hydraulically connected to the first chamber, a second supply line hydraulically connected to the second chamber and a control valve hydraulically connected to the first chamber. So as to prevent the faulty actuation of the hydraulic cylinder, it is proposed that the control valve has a first position and a second position, the control valve in the first position allowing hydraulic fluid to flow only in the direction of the first chamber and in the second position allowing hydraulic fluid to flow both to the first chamber and out of the first chamber and the control valve being controlled such that it assumes the first position when the hydraulic cylinder assumes its first position.

  • Publication number: 20070012038
Abstract: An improved hydraulic arrangement is provided for a spring support system. The arrangement comprises a hydraulic cylinder, a hydraulic reservoir, a hydraulic fluid feeder, a hydraulic accumulator, a first control valve between the hydraulic cylinder and the accumulator, a second control valve between the hydraulic cylinder and the hydraulic reservoir as well as an automatic shut-off valve and a controller with a lifting position, a lowering position and a neutral position for the hydraulic cylinder. In order to prevent different pressure loads between the accumulator and the hydraulic cylinder, it is suggested to equalize the pressure between the accumulator and the hydraulic cylinder, without impairing the spring support system or the automatic shut-off valve. Accordingly, the accumulator is suitably connected to a non-return valve and to a flow restrictor or orifice.

  • Patent number: 7104181
Abstract: A hydraulic control circuit for a hydraulic cylinder is described for the raising and lowering of a boom on a telescopic loader. First and second chambers of the hydraulic cylinder are connected to a control valve over first and second supply lines and are selectively connected to either a hydraulic pressure source or to a hydraulic reservoir. The circuit includes on-off valves for controlling the flow through a first hydraulic line extending between the first chamber of the cylinder and the hydraulic reservoir, and through a second hydraulic line extending between the second chamber and the hydraulic reservoir in such a way that a floating position can be provided. Furthermore, a load-holding valve arrangement is provided in the first supply line at a location between the control valve and the first chamber of the cylinder.

  • Patent number: 7100371
Abstract: A hydraulic arrangement is provided with at least one pressure accumulator for a hydraulic fluid, a hydraulic cylinder with at least one chamber to which pressure can be applied, a connecting line, on the basis of which the at least one accumulator is connected with the chamber, and a control unit. In order to provide an electronic pipe break safety device, an electronically controlled on-off valve is mounted in the connecting line and coupled for receiving control signals from the control unit, and a signal transmitter, which is coupled for monitoring the pressure in the connecting line is also connected to the control unit. If a pressure drop occurs in the connecting line, a signal change is generated by means of the signal transmitter, whereupon the control unit sends a signal effecting movement of the shut-off valve to its closed position.

  • Publication number: 20060108185
Abstract: A hydraulic system for a suspension system is disclosed. The system has a hydraulic cylinder, a hydraulic tank, a conveying means, a hydraulic accumulator, a control device, a load holding device disposed between the hydraulic accumulator and the hydraulic cylinder, and an on-off valve disposed between the hydraulic accumulator and the control device. In order to provide a suspension function for the hydraulic cylinder while simultaneously ensuring safeguarding of the hydraulic cylinder and of the hydraulic accumulator against a pressure drop in the case of a tube break, the present invention provides a system that controls the on-off valve and the load holding device synchronously through a control pressure device, such that when the suspension function is activated the load holding device is opened and the on-off valve is closed.

  • Patent number: 6988363
Abstract: A suspension for the boom of a loading vehicle includes a hydraulic cylinder for raising and lowering, or for extending and retracting (in the case of a telescopic cylinder), a boom. A direction control valve is provided for selectively routing hydraulic oil to and from at least a head-end chamber of the cylinder. A position sensor senses the position of the hydraulic piston rod, at the start of operation, and sends a sends a target signal representing this beginning position to a control unit which determines the difference between the target signal and a signal representing a current position of the piston rod. When this difference equals a preset difference threshold, a pressure-limiting unit, in the form of a valve or choke, is activated so as to control fluid flow to and from the head-end chamber so as to return the piston rod to its initial position which generated the target signal.

  • Publication number: 20060001224
Abstract: A loading machine is disclosed with at least one drive train, with at least one overload protection device for the drive train and with sensors for determining an overload state in the drive train. Critical operating conditions of the loading machine can be determined based on signals from the sensors, such that the load application on the drive train can be influenced in terms of power. The determination of critical operating conditions is implemented by means of a control unit which evaluates the signals from the sensors. When preset threshold values have been attained, the control unit generates control signals for a fuel injection pump, upon which a preventive limitation of the power is initiated.
