Abstract: A decorative screen configuration is provided for fastening on a motor vehicle body having a first decorative screen profile and a second decorative screen profile, which are each fastenable on the vehicle body using an end section adjoining one another in the profile longitudinal direction, the first decorative screen profile having a fastening extension protruding in the profile longitudinal direction from its end section, which is positively and/or nonpositively connectable to the end section of the second screen profile. Furthermore, decorative screen and an associated installation method are provided in which the decorative screen is fixed using detent and counter detent element in a pre-installation position on the vehicle body and can be transferred by a pivot movement into a final installation position on the vehicle body.

Abstract: TA sliding door arrangement for a motor vehicle is provided with a safeguard for securing and/or reinforcing the sliding door against exposure to external forces, wherein the safeguard has corresponding safeguard elements arranged on a column-side and door-side carrier, which in the closed position of the sliding door viewed in the transverse direction of the vehicle come to overlap each other at least regionally. At least one of the safeguard elements is here arranged with a mounting plate on a column- or door-side carrier, and there comes to abut a rear side facing away from the opposing carrier.

Abstract: A rail system of a mounting and guide device for a sliding door of a motor vehicle is provided with a drawn-in rear part, by which the sliding door is displaceable between a closed position in which the sliding door closes a door opening and an open position in which the door is located laterally adjacent to the door opening. The rail system has a guide rail connected to the vehicle body, which is provided with an arc section, which is curved toward the vehicle middle following the drawn-in rear part and a first assembly assigned to the guide rail having a mounting unit engaging in the guide rail, which is displaceable along the guide rail with the aid of a least one displacement means. The rail system also has a support element rigidly connected to the mounting unit and projecting from the mounting unit in front of the displacement means, to which the sliding door is attached so it is pivotably movable.
