    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure describe systems, methods, and structures that scavenge mechanical energy to provide electrical energy to a wearable, where the mechanical energy is scavenged by a bending-strain-based transducer that includes a non-resonant energy harvester. By employing a non-resonant energy harvester that operates in bending mode, more electrical energy can be generated that possible with prior-art energy harvesters. In some embodiments, the output of a bending-strain-based transducer element is used for both energy scavenging and as a sensor signal indicative of a user parameter, such as a step, respiration rate, heart rate, weight and the like. In some embodiments, a transducer element includes a plurality of piezoelectric layers that are electrically connected in parallel to increase the energy and/or power provided by the transducer element.

When loading into a container, the cab of the forklift truck is tilted forward to a preset angle, so that the overall height of the forklift truck is reduced to a height suitable for loading in a container, and the locating mechanism is used to locate the cab, so that the cab is kept in a state in which it is tilted forward to a preset angle.

    Abstract: Input text may be broken into sentence, or other types of segments, by first detecting exceptions in the input text, and then detecting break positions. Given a segment breaking scheme that comprises a set of break rules and a set of exceptions, a regular expression is created that represents the break rules, and another regular expression is created that represents the exceptions. The input text is analyzed to identify strings that match any exception, and the matching strings are substituted with placeholders that are not likely to occur naturally in the input. The resulting text, with substitutions, is then evaluated to find the positions in the text that match the break rules. Those positions are declared to be segment breaks, and the placeholders are then replaced with the original strings. The result is the original text, with breaks assigned to the appropriate positions in the text.

At least one substantially real time series of currency conversion quotes for converting the second currency to the first currency is received. This series of currency conversion quotes is applied to a currency conversion model adapted to estimate future currency conversion quotes. An offered conversion price within a settlement time window is determined using the estimated future currency conversion quotes. The settlement time window begins at the current time and extends through the financial instrument settlement period. A substantially real time series of quotes for the financial instrument, in the second currency, is received. A substantially current time quote for the financial instrument is multiplied by the offered conversion price to determine a hedged quote for the foreign financial instrument in the first currency.
